In this case, I felt compelled to share my experience with Mercedes Benz of Catonsville and particularly with the salesperson, Erik Hershan. I initially purchased a 2015 C300 but I had originally wanted the C400 but it was not available at the time as that model is hard to come by. Unfortunately, my C300 seats developed an MB Tex "bleeding seat" problem and the part for replacement was on back order for up to two months. Mr. Hershan and the dealership was able to contact Mercedes Benz for them to arrange a trade-in of the C300 to C400 that I had really wanted initially. I believe they went above and beyond and turned what could potentially be a very frustrating experience into a truly exceptional one. This is my first Mercedes Benz and if this is the type of service I am going to receive, I plan to stay with the company and in particular, this dealership, for a long time. More

Having family in the Car business I expect to have some negotiation taking place but there is a fine line between negotiating and being taken for a ride! I can appreciate that the Dealership is looking to make profit, However, I am also aware of the bottom line value of the vehicle. Please Do your Homework before purchasing a vehicle and know how the dealership has a huge markup on their MSRP. More

Top Notch Service I had been searching for a vehicle for about six months. I came across this vehicle on cars.com and from the time I called to check availability unti I had been searching for a vehicle for about six months. I came across this vehicle on cars.com and from the time I called to check availability until the time I got to MD my experience was very pleasurable. I drove 5 hrs from the Hampton Roads VA area all the way to MD for this vehicle. When I finally arrived the salesman Steve told me 3 people had came to see the vehicle but he turned everyone away being that I was coming so far. He was like my knight and shining armor literally. I test drove the car fell in love instantly and now I have my car. I have never experienced customer service like this. I was in and out in an hour time. I have to give Steve and the entire MB team two thumbs up! . GREAT JOB!!! More

Of course, some negotiation took place, and, of course, it took a little bit of time, but I got ABSOLUTELY 100% of what I was aiming at, and without Javad's help that would have been impossible (he did a lot of talking and client representation to the manager). If you are an out of town buyer, don't even consider this dealer. There was literally ZERO follow up. I left messages for the sales manager and they were not returned. It was a surprise to me because during the negotiation, they were very attentive. But the follow up is among the worst I've ever experienced. UPDATE: As aforementioned, my deal fell through. Now, nearly a month later, my down payment has yet to be returned. We have called multiple times. The latest excuse was the person who cut the checks was on vacation. Yes. Apparently Mercedes Benz of Catonsville has only 1 person who is able to sign checks! Avoid this dealer at all costs. I feel like I am dealing with a "tote the note" used car dealer. The level of either incompetence or outright lack of integrity is stunning. More
