The worst experience of my life! I had the worst experience after buying a car from Rene Javois. We bought the car in early April 2018. We were told a second key had to be ordered bec I had the worst experience after buying a car from Rene Javois. We bought the car in early April 2018. We were told a second key had to be ordered because the previous owners did not give back the second key. We were fine with that and understood it would take a little time. We took the car home that day and brought it back sometime the following week for touch-ups. After the dealership had our vehicle for about a week or so to do the touch-ups, there was still no sign of the second key. We had Rene’s email so my wife sent him two emails inquiring about the key. The first email was sent on 5/15/18 and the second was sent on 5/25/18. We never received a reply. After we never received a reply, I sent Rene a text on 6/4/18 and called him asking about the status of the second key and received no reply. Later that evening, Rene replied that he was on vacation and that he would return that Wednesday and check on it. As usual, Rene never got back to us. On 6/18/18, I again texted Rene asking about the key. Rene replied that he was checking it now and of course Rene never replied! A day or two later, our check engine light came on. We called and scheduled an appointment to have it checked out. It turned out we needed some special part to be ordered and my husband also asked about the second key. When I was advised that there was no key ordered, I went and spoke with the manager, Sam. Sam told me nothing was ordered and sent me to go order the key with another gentleman who worked there which he did. I also informed Sam of the difficulty we were having with Rene and how he apparently never ordered the second key. I called at least once or twice a week asking about the status of the part and the key. I was told each time that were is no time frame on that part and that his engine was fine without it and that they would call when they have it. Interestingly enough, my wife called Monday 7/2/18 to finally get some answers. She talked to a wonderful person in parts named “P.” P looked into the system for her and noticed a second key was never even ordered! She was speechless. After doing some research, he also informed her that the special part we needed had already been there! No one called us to say the part was ready! If she hadn’t called, I would never have known the part was there and the second key still was never ordered. P then informed her that he was told the second key was on back order by Rene. To put this in perspective, we bought a 2016 certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz CLA 250, not some old vehicle that was ancient. Turns out, P was able to order the second key for me over the phone on that Monday 7/2/18. Obviously the “back order” story was just a lie which is extremely unprofessional for any dealership, especially a Mercedes dealership! P said the second key would be there the next day. How ironic! While this is taking place, Rene sent me a text message saying the key is on back order. Again, sad and really unprofessional he was still lying to us as my wife was speaking to P and he was actually placing the order for us! I did not even to respond to Rene because its worthless. After hearing about this information, I placed two calls to the manager, Sam. Once on Monday 7/2/18 and again on 7/5/18. Sam never returned any of his calls. After what we have dealt with for so long, its pretty sad we can’t get a manager to call us back. Sam even confirmed when my wife was on the phone with P that he remembered me going in and speaking with him about the key. As of this week, thanks to P, we finally have the second key three months later and the part has been put it. I still had to deal with someone rude in service telling me that he isn't our service adviser. I believe his name was Robert. I can't even believe what we have went through. I held back on filing out any surveys and I am so glad I did because I would have given a great review before things went south fast. Everyone’s time is precious. It isn’t fair for customers to be hounding their sales person and then get ignored and worst of all lied to! We are extremely dissatisfied at the customer service or lack thereof. We were more than patient here. No one should have to deal with this. I hope this review informs people to be very cautious about who they buy a car from and which dealership you go to. I have never been treated so poorly. We will NEVER buy a car from this dealership ever again and will not return to this location for any maintenance. For those that do go to this dealership, I encourage you to not go to Rene unless this is the kind of headache you want to be dealing with. More

I used to buy from dealers in Virginia where I live, but I drive more than one hour for sales and service because these people are top notch. If you ever need a MB - new or used, call there and ask for Russell Pentz. He manages the service department, but will also help you with sales and advise you on anything you need to know about Mercedes vehicles. You’ll never leave there disappointed. More
