Extremely poor service and attitude by the staff including the manager on duty. We bought our car from them 5 years back and have been going back regularly for service. The experience this time (on including the manager on duty. We bought our car from them 5 years back and have been going back regularly for service. The experience this time (on July 2, 2021) was pathetic as they made us wait with no ETA for the service vehicle. This was despite the fact that it was a confirmed appointment for a recall that Mercedes has advised. Due to the attitude and rudeness demonstrated by the staff and the manager, we were unable to get a safety recall. Not planning to go to this Mercedes for our next purchase or service ever :-( More
This was a terrible car buying process and I've bought a ton of cars! Customers should strongly consider going to other Mercedes-Benz dealers in the PNW for hopefully an honest and transparent experience. ton of cars! Customers should strongly consider going to other Mercedes-Benz dealers in the PNW for hopefully an honest and transparent experience. When we arrived, we spent about 1-2 hours excitedly getting acclimated to the new car. Each feature had a line-item to disclose price differences in options. An appraisal was done with my current car, and we were ready to start the negotiation process. During negotiations, they slid in an added "Market Adjustment" fee of $4,000! I think their tactic is to keep you waiting so long they hope you fold. This was very shady and when questioned with the manager, Delilah, she lied and then placed the blame on me for not paying attention to this line-item. This fee was not disclosed anywhere on my print outs, the sticker price, nor is it online. They sure removed the fee quickly when discussions got more heated. At that point, this made me disgusted and we couldn't commit. If the dealership would have honored and started negotiations with what was advertised, they would have had a sold customer. To all of those that read this, if you see a "Market Adjustment fee" slid in there at the last minute, immediately leave or make sure they remove this. More
I have owned a Mercedes CLS550 Launch edition for 9 years. It has only been serviced by a Mercedes dealership or authorized garage. I never missed or was late on a service. The car has been meticulo years. It has only been serviced by a Mercedes dealership or authorized garage. I never missed or was late on a service. The car has been meticulously maintained. It has 145K miles and I expected to keep it for 250 to 300K based on what I thought the Mercedes reputation was. The car was driving well and the check engine light came on. I brought it into Mercedes Bellevue. They called back after diagnostics and said to pick it up I was told that the piston shaft linings were all pitted and marked, and it needed a new engine, 33K + labor. Mercedes Bellevue tole me the life of the engine was 1k to 5K miles.I told them to put it together and I would pick it up. When I got to the dealership I was put in an office in the back and the service manager, Eric Gordon, came in and told me that the car was not drivable and I would need to have it towed and proceeded to continue to ask me when I was going to have it towed. Eric told me, and then my wife when she arrived, that Mercedes had used a different alloy in constructing these blocks and the problem was occurring with increasing frequency with the my model CLS550 which had been produced for 4 years. Eric told us this in this meeting and he never admitted it again. Eric then said if I had my oil changed at any place besides Mercedes that this could happen would make my engine seize. I then produces ALL of my services records that proved that only Mercedes had serviced my car. He then said he would call Mercedes and see what they would do. Result: NOTHING As Mercedes could not pin the cause of the problem on any neglectful actions on my part they came back with the decision that they would not do anything for me due to the mileage and that the car was only worth 30K and it would take 50K to replace the engine. So they are telling me that my car is WORTHLESS due to nothing that I did wrong. This was a meticulously maintained car. I did nothing wrong to cause the problem. They do not see fit to compensate me in anyway for my 30K loss (what they said the car is worth). Mercedes caused the problem, not me. How can they get away with this?????? They are essentially saying that a $100K car should not last more than 145K miles. Wow, my wife has had two Japanese cars that have lasted over 200K for less than half the cost. I wrote a synopsis of my problem on the BenzWorld forum.. Comments that came back indicted that this is not an uncommon problem. What Eric, the office manager, told us is true. Mercedes knows they produced a defective engine. The dealer and Mercedes are not standing behind their product. How can it be right that they just tell me to tow away my car and leave me with no compensation or offer to fix the problem they caused? My wife has an Acura. Years after the purchase, we found out that her model had a known an oil leak problem. This was known by Acura and they knew it was their problem. Because my wife had only had her car serviced at the Acura dealership they paid 80% of the 8K cost to fix the problem that was caused by the Acura defect. Acura and the dealership stood behind their product, unlike Mercedes. Mercedes Bellevue has refused to provide the codes from testing. Why? I have spoken to the Service Manager and the General Manager about this and I have not received them. More
Contacted the dealership about the lease of a GLE 350 that was on the webpage. Spoke to a salesman by phone and asked for a quote for a one pay lease. Received a quote from the sales manager by email tha that was on the webpage. Spoke to a salesman by phone and asked for a quote for a one pay lease. Received a quote from the sales manager by email that was 15k over what the monthly lease payments would have been. Finding that odd, I asked why. No response. More
I’ve had bad experiences at this dealership before. But there was a used car that I liked so I decided to give it another go. Riley was awesome and knowledgeable. No pressure and quick. It looks like during the vacuuming or whatever cleaning they do during that it happened. I reported to them the issue. Couple of days after reporting the issue, the Call came from their service manager and he said it is not possible for them to introduce this issue and they can't take the responsibility for it. My car was with them from 11:00 AM to around 4:00 PM for servicing and issue was introduced by them but they totally denied to take the responsibility. So, please be aware, they did damaged the car during service. I just want people to be aware. So, that It does not happen to any one else. More
Warning! If this dealership promises you anything, get it in writing. Very disappointed in their integrity. Another issue, leased a 2021 GLS 450. The dealership was using it for a test drive model but appare in writing. Very disappointed in their integrity. Another issue, leased a 2021 GLS 450. The dealership was using it for a test drive model but apparently didn’t notice that the satellite radio was malfunctioning. I live two hours away, so now I have to make an appointment and go back there which I am not looking forward to. More
Horrible dealer. Went there to buy a CPO Mercedes. I wasted two hours of my life here that I’ll never get back. They made me wait for an hour just for the rude, pushy, rookie sales person I had an appoi wasted two hours of my life here that I’ll never get back. They made me wait for an hour just for the rude, pushy, rookie sales person I had an appointment with. They took my keys to do an inspection on my trade and then held them hostage so I couldn’t leave. I had to ask for my keys three times! They also tried to cut the value of my trade in half and then the sales manager mocked and disrespected me when I told them I wanted them to include an extra key because they didn’t have a second key for their car. I promptly left and went to Seattle Mercedes instead. Mercedes of Seattle quoted me full value for my trade and came down on the price of their vehicle (same exact year, model, options, and color) by several thousand dollars. Needless to say, I bought their car the same day. This isn’t my first Benz nor my first experience at this dealership. It has gotten exponentially worse over time. Just because this dealership is in Bellevue, they act like their **** doesn’t stink. Well, I got news for them - I’ll never do business there again and encourage all my friends to stay away, too! Worst dealership in the state! I have been buying cars for over 45 years and can say hands down that Mercedes Benz of Bellevue is the worst dealership in the State of Washington. D I have been buying cars for over 45 years and can say hands down that Mercedes Benz of Bellevue is the worst dealership in the State of Washington. Don't bother to call and leave a message for someone in the finance department - they never return their calls. When you finally get fed up and insist on talking to a live person, that person will repeatedly interrupt you and tell you the problem originated in their accounting department, so it wasn't their fault that I had to pay extra fees for penalties just to get the car I purchased registered. They couldn't get off the phone fast enough! Worst customer service ever!! After I talked to finance, I called back to make a complaint to the General Manager - big mistake! He was even worse than the finance guy! He was rude and repeatedly interrupted me to say just cut to the chase, what did they need to do? They need to get new personnel for starters. If I get bad service at a business, I want to talk to someone who will listen to me explain WHY it was bad service, and maybe they will learn something from it. From the looks of these other reviews, they have done nothing and don't care what their customers think of them, as long as they have already taken your money. Take my advice - buy a car somewhere else. More
