I have been using Atlantic City Mercedes’ for years for service and sales. I recently had the pleasure of working with Kevin Rossi in the service department. I needed to replace the cracked windshield on m service and sales. I recently had the pleasure of working with Kevin Rossi in the service department. I needed to replace the cracked windshield on my 2021 CLS 53. Kevin was able to get the windshield in three days which was almost impossible with the current supply chain issues. Kevin called me to let me know the windshield was there and was able to squeeze me in for the repair. Of course the installation was perfect. My thanks to Kevin for making this happen I couldn’t have done it without him. Again Atlantic City Mercedes’ has exceeded my expectations. More
Placed the order for my AMG E53 7 months ago in May before I finally received it in December. This is a world wide dilemma at the moment (chip shortage) and has nothing to do with the sales rep or the before I finally received it in December. This is a world wide dilemma at the moment (chip shortage) and has nothing to do with the sales rep or the dealership in particular. Now what ticked me off is the complete unprofessionalism of the sales rep Darnell Greenidge. Guy has zero customer service skills nor does he know how to stay professional when closing out a deal. Throught out the whole painstaking ordeal there was minimum communciation from his end. I had to keep calling him time and again to get an update on my vehicle but I could hardly get a hold of him! Not to mention the dealership mostly looked like a graveyard with no customers in sight every time I visited. I had to constantly visit the dealership to make sure I can get the latest update on my order. Mid-way through the waiting period I wanted to change some specs so I went to the dealership and told him in person to make the changes. He assured me the changes would be made but surprisingly he completely neglected my request and never made the changes. I just happened to swing by the dealership a week later just to get an update and he was away on vacation. The manager spoke to me and informed me there were never any updates made on the vehicle. I was furious because according to the manager if I would have come a week later the car would have already been in the building process and no changes can be made at that point. Luckily I was there in time so I requested the manager to make the changes for me. On the closing day when we sat down for a final run down with the numbers, I was ok with the price and requested him if they could give me a $150 discount as a courtesy since I waited over 7 months with BELOW AVERAGE customer service. Moreover the car was worth $102K so the discount I asked for was completely reasonable. Even if he did not want to go down with the price the least he could have done is make me feel comfortable and tried to work with me but his instant response was "if you don't want to buy the car someone else will and my manager will list it for $10K more than the sticker price and sell it right away!". I was completely shocked at the response but I kept it completely professional. I never suggested I am not going to purchase the vehicle, specially after waiting for 7 long months! The appropriate response would have been to assure me he will do whatever he can and talk to his manager. But instead he kept insisting it was the final price and it was only after I kept requesting him again & again to atleast talk to his manager instead of giving me his own FINAL verdict. The manager obviously did not want to come down even $50 which I found extremely pathetic. Anyways whatever couple thousand dollars they made is not going to make or break me and I am not necessarily upset at the price but the way I was treated by this guy was a complete shocker. He needs some serious coaching when it comes to conducting himself as a professional in this type of work environment. More
