Purchased a lightly used 2024 GLE 450 from this dealership the day before Thanksgiving on 11/26/24. It was a "certified pre-owned" that supposedly went through a rigorous check. I drove to my family's house right after for the holiday. When I was traveling back him on Saturday, I tried the massaging seat and it wasn't not working. When I stopped by a rest area, I tried the passenger's side massaging seat and that worked. So I do a Google search and read a few posts that if the massaging seat isn't working then the lumbar and bolster adjustment setting probably won't work either and sure enough they don't. I text my salesman Omar Kaker and he doesn't even respond back which makes me believe they knew of this issue. So I don't even have my "new" car a week and I already have to bring it in for repairs. Not what I expect from a "certified pre-owned". It makes me wonder what other issues I will find with this vehicle. I really hope there are no other issues and that this $72,000 car is not a lemon. Hopefully the manufacturer's warranty covers this.. If not.. I'm going to be livid and will complain all the way to the top to corporate if I have to. I really hope this is the only issue I find with this suv. I'm really upset that I just got this car and it has to go into the shop for repair for who knows how many days. On top of that, I drove 6 hours to this dealership to purchase this car. If this is how they inspect vehicles for CPO, then they need to do a better job. I shouldn't have to take a car I just purchased in for repairs less than a week after I purchase it. Who knows how long I'll be without my car until it's fixed. I really really hope the warranty covers the repair because if not, and I have to pay a lot of money to fix it, I am going to be a squeaky wheel that will not go away and will squeak as loudly as I can. Edit: Discovered more with this car! I thought the windshield was dirty and had some dirt on it, so today, 6 days after purchasing, I went to clear the windshield and noticed that there were about 10 small chips in the glass. So I don't even have this car a week, and I already have to take it in for repair for the seat and also repair or even replace the windshield. Replacing the windshield is like $5000 because of all the tech and sensors and such. Not happy at all! This car I feel is a fugazi Edit #2. I discovered that the entire driver's side door has been repainted. You can tell because there are paint drips on the inside of the driver's side door. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE! You would think that going to a legit Mercedes-Benz Dealer, you would get a good vehicle, not some shady vehicle that has all kinds of issues and obviously there was work done on the car that was never reported to CarFax. Especially since it was a "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle, I am livid and I can't believe this right now. I have opened a formal complaint with Mercedes-Benz corporate. I can't believe this. I traded in a perfectly conditioned car and I got one that was painted and they failed to disclose that! I was wondering why the windshield and glass had chips, but there was nothing on the car body, now I know why. It was repainted!! I did not think I would get ripped off from an official Mercedes-Benz dealer. I also found out that MB of Arlington installed PPF in the car. I called one of the service centers that did work on the car that was reported on the CarFax and they told me that MB of Arlington were the ones who brought it in. I'm livid, I can't believe this. I want my money back and my old car back! More
