Everyone was more than willing t through the Internet. They were both so friendly and helpful. I can honestly say we had a good time buying our cars. Everyone was more than willing to go above and beyond for us. (and it was not because we bought 2 cars. We bought 2 cars because we were so impressed ) I would recommend them to everyone I know. This is the worst dealership i have ever tried to do business with! I am looking for an outlander and 3 wks ago i contacted ken via the internet concerning one they had on autotrader. THis saga is quite business with! I am looking for an outlander and 3 wks ago i contacted ken via the internet concerning one they had on autotrader. THis saga is quite remarkable and far to long to write it all out so i'll be brief. upon my initial contact i asked ken to call me back with soem specific questions i had about the vehicle condition because i was calling from out of state. he said he would call me right back...THREE DAYS LATER!!! then the bank doesnt like th mileage on the initial vehicle so i asked ken to email me soem vehicles the bank will approve...STILL HAVENT GOT THAT EMAIL!!! that was 2+ weeks ago! I was annoyed and decided to just chill out and keep the car i have. last week it brokedown again and so i call and ask if my financing approval is still good, Ken says it is. I ofund a lower mileage car and asked ken to send it in for financing on saturday...he doesnt! on monday i call and asked whats going on and find out he's trying to finace me the WRONG CAR! monday afternoon i called the used car manager who was less than freindly and asked for a new salesman and am told that one would call ASAP...5 mins later ken calls me! he's suddenly attentive and assures me he's on it. by monday evening i am no closer to getting finaced that i was on saturday. today is tuesday. i don't even want the vehicle anymore but i want to see just how long this can play out, how many lies i can be told and just how inept ken is. at the time of this writing ken is no closer to financing this car the he was on saturday. for the record i have been approved for another car at another dealer...it only took them 3 hours to make it happen. ken is going on three weeks! I worked with Ken and Jessie. I called the dealership to ask about the new Outlander Sport. Ken answered all my questions. I went to the dealer and he had the car I was interested in all ready for me to t ask about the new Outlander Sport. Ken answered all my questions. I went to the dealer and he had the car I was interested in all ready for me to test drive. I fell in love with this car. Jessie is the Mitsubishi Manager and between him and Ken they where able to get me in this car at a price I could afford. It was worth the 1 hour drive! Thank you again Mentor Mitsubishi More
I am sick and of having to come back to this dealership over and over and my problems not being solved!!! Lets see the last issue I had was coming in for an appointment and the part not being there. When I over and over and my problems not being solved!!! Lets see the last issue I had was coming in for an appointment and the part not being there. When I was approached by the parts clerk I was asked "who told you the part would be in"....it was her!! Not to mention I was told by the other parts clerk "the earlier you come the better"!! I left in tears because I had to drive there in a terrible snow storm for nothing, and once again I have another issue to deal with from their terrible customer service. You would think that the manager Bob would have called to follow up on the situation. Or that maybe even the parts clerks would have called to schedule my appointment since my part should be in by now!!This is a terrible dealership to deal with. If I had to do it all over again I would not be making this mistake!!!! More

After having my car stolen during the work week I was in need of a vehicle. I called Mentor Mitsubishi where I spoke with a salesman named Ken. Ken told me their were four vehicles left that had been in the need of a vehicle. I called Mentor Mitsubishi where I spoke with a salesman named Ken. Ken told me their were four vehicles left that had been in the paper. After researching a few vehicles, I called back later to ask a few questions because I wanted to come up and see vehicle that was on sale. Upon my return call the salesman who answered acted as if they were so busy they couldn't take a call. The sales person I was directed to worked on the KIA side and advised me to call back later, or come up on Sunday if I could swing it. I decided to take a trip to the actual dealership. This is where the story really gets interesting. I decide to take a trip into the dealership, and reach out to the salesman I had talked to on the phone named Ken. Immediately upon entering I ask for Ken, and he looks as if he has no idea that I am there to buy a car. The story gets worse. After telling Ken I am in the dealership to purchase a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport for $16,000 he tells me he has to go get the keys to the models. He then takes me outside to the lot so I can view the vehicles that are in the paper on sale. As we get to the first model, this guy realizes that he has no keys to any of the cars. He also fails to mention that the cars he is showing me are manual transmission vehicles. (Oh trust me it gets worse) At this point I ask this guy to show me a model with an automatic transmission. He tells me that it'll cost me $21,000 for one trim above, and it cant be priced any lower. I look in the paper and see that the Outlander which is priced higher than the sport is on sale for $18,000 and has an automatic transmission. In my mind I'm thinking this guy must be kidding me. For one I'm a math teacher, who also holds a business degree. This guy just wasn't into trying to sell a car. So i used my two feet and walked out. What he didn't know is that I was paying with cash. But I guess financing a vehicle in a seesaw economy is better. I look at the residual value of this car, and learn that the 5 year depreciation of this vehicle is upwards $13,000 plus. As soon as 2012 hits this car will be worth 11,500-12,500 if that. I guess I was at a Cadillac dealership and didn't know it. The experience was dull, guy walked into the building didn't try to even ask customer info or anything. Horrible Experience. I do not recommend at all. More
BUYER BEWARE! - is the best I can say about Mentor Kia. The cars are good, but this dealership practices sales tactics I thought were left back in the 80's. They practically beg you to give you to give the The cars are good, but this dealership practices sales tactics I thought were left back in the 80's. They practically beg you to give you to give them a chance to make ANY concerns right. But when you ask them to, you are ignored and made to feel rediculous. IF you should choose to buy from this dealership, ensure you ask to see the dealer invoice (pay no more than $400 over it), ensure you get a dollar figure, in writing, for your trade, BEFORE agreeing to any deal. Ensure you DO NOT buy the same day you walk in! If you do, make sure you have time to read EVERY word on EVERY piece of paperwork in the finance office. They will try to string you along until you are in a major hurry and them run you into the finance office and have you sign all papers, one after another, with no time to look at or review them. What they told me in the show room did not match what I ended up signing, because they knew I had to leave to pick up by boys by 6:00pm. They stalled me from 3:30 till 5:50pm, then ran me into the office to sign all the paperwork, with the assurance "it's all like we discussed"! "Call us if you find anything wrong". Well it wasn't right, and when I called the next morning and for the next 4 days, I got ignored and brushed aside. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE at Mentor Kia. There are many other Kia dealerships - buy smart! I must say the service department at the Mentor dealership seems to be OK. More
