Buyer Beware! Believe the Bad Reviews -- Bait and Switch I contacted the dealership Wednesday night to see if a vehicle listed for sale online was available. I contacted the dealer Thursday night, indicating I wanted to come out for a test drive Friday afternoon. I did not hear back right away. I called the dealer late Friday morning, asked for the internet contact, and asked if the vehicle was still there. She said yes, and when I came to the dealership, I should ask for Jonathan. What? Why should I talk to someone else? This was very strange. Nevertheless, I drove for an hour, showed up at the dealership, and met Jonathan -- who had no idea which vehicle I was after. I explained which vehicle I came to see, and he (supposedly) went to get the keys. A little while later, he came back and told me that the vehicle I wanted was sold THE DAY BEFORE, but he had another vehicle I could see. I told him I had called earlier and was told the vehicle was still available. He wanted to know who I talked to, and I told him. I got up to leave, and he tried to talk me into looking at another vehicle. I left the dealership immediately. If the vehicle truly existed and was sold, that happens and that's fine. But don't lie me, and tell me it's there and available when it is not. I took 1/2 a vacation day and drove for an hour there to see that vehicle; it was a total waste of time!! More

Family feeling from a car buying experience My family had a great experience with doing business with Mentor Mitsubishi and our car shopping experience, to where we not only bought a new car, bu My family had a great experience with doing business with Mentor Mitsubishi and our car shopping experience, to where we not only bought a new car, but leased a second car within the same week. From the first phone call through the entire car buying experience, we were treated as part of the family. Our salesman, Dave Clark was knowledgeable and friendly. We were not pressured into anything that did not fit the scope of what we intended with our visit to the store. I commend the dedication of the team as they stayed well after hours to aid in me completing the deal and leaving that day with the purchase that I was looking for. I called Mike and told him exactly what I could and couldn't do. 72 hours later we were driving h I was told to contact sales manager, Mike Connors. Salesman, Dave Clark took over and he was very thorough from the test drive to delivery. This is the best experience I've had as a buyer. More

He respected the fact that I said I was there to look at a specific car I researched online and didn't waste my time trying to get me to fill out a "car needs assessment," which may explain why I bought from him instead of the other 2 dealerships I visited that day. Mark Fierle Excellent service and done in a timely manner. My only question is during customer orientation it was stated that only synthetic oil was to be used fo Excellent service and done in a timely manner. My only question is during customer orientation it was stated that only synthetic oil was to be used for oil changes and that 7500 miles between oil changes was the norm. On my next service sticker it states 3000 miles. Which is correct? Other than that I would and have highly recommended you guys as a dealership to use for purchase and service. Mark Fierle More
This place is the most disrespectful place in the world We purchased my daughters 2003 Mitsubishi out lander from there 2 months ago. I purposely asked the service manager to make sure everything was ok on it and to let me know if there was any maybe stuff that could go wrong since i wanted it safe for my 17 year old. He promised me it was and said maybe the struts need repaired in 6 months. Well yesterday 5/15/2014 my daughters engine blew up on RT. 2 in the storm thank god this is the 1 time I was driving and not her....When the mechanic looked at it apparently the radiator plug was cracked and old... where with all the time Mentor Mitsubishi did stuff to the car before resale and before we took it off the lot, you are gonna tell me they don't check the caps and plugs. A 3.00 cap could have saved me what is now a 3000.00 expense. SO I called Mentor Mitsubishi and told them what happened and asked why they didnt pick up on it. That is when Shawn the manager told me that they DON'T have to do anything or check anything before they sell the cars, and that how does he know that when my daughter was driving a car a rock didnt crack it... well not according to our mechanic it wasnt a new crack, it was Mentor Mitsubishi just not wanting to take responsibility for what happened. Shawn said not my problem... even though it should have been caught before we ever bought it and might I say I paid cash for it too.... Then Shawn had said for our Mechanic to call his mechanic Bob Soppitt our mechanic called twice and never got a called back. We were lied to by the service manager and the mechanic and I just feel it was wrong now we are out 5200.00 for a car we paid for and it will cost us up to 3000.00 to fix it... No clue what to do Shawn said for my 1 bad experience he has 50 positive so mine doesnt matter. Never buy a car from their. More
