I would highly recommend Mears Mazda of Lubbock if you plan on purchasing a car. The process was very smooth, easy, and enjoyable. It is wonderful when you can establish a rapport with your car salesman rather than just feeling like they're just trying to sell it to get rid of it. It has been 2 months since I have purchased my 2019 2ss Camaro (Feb 22), and Thomas still calls me to make sure everything is okay and I'm still happy what more could I ask for in a salesman you get an a+ Thomas and Mears Mazda keep doing what you do here in Lubbock Texas. Just went in to look at the Mazda CX-9. Dieter was our salesman. He listen very closely to what we said. If I mentioned a certain car model, he knew immediately if we would like it or not. Even when I had second thoughts, he assured us he could find us the right car. And that he did!!! Bought a Lincoln Nautilus, which we love!!! Will recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new car. More
I purchased a new Mazda CX-5 from Mears Mazda Volvo in November 2021. The price paid for the vehicle was excellent as I was charged the invoice price for the car. However, in conjunction with the purchase, Mears Mazda Volvo sold me two Vehicle Protection Packages that they indicated were part of every new car they sold and gave me the impression that they were not negotiable. After thoroughly reading the Agreements for the Paint Protection ($399) and Theft Protection ($399) packages, I discovered that both packages are optional and are NOT a requirement for purchase of the vehicle. No one overtly informed me of this. If I had been informed I would have opted out of these two packages as both are truly worthless in my opinion. In addition, after thoroughly reviewing the components of the Vehicle Protection Package, I discovered that I had paid $250 for a nitrogen fill. I went to COSTCO and inquired about the price at their Tire Center. The Price is $15.99 for all four tires. I requested a refund from Mears Mazda Volvo for the items mentioned above which was denied with the logic that what they did was legal. I agree it was legal as I did sign the purchase papers. But I seriously question the ethics. I do recommend this dealership only because of the invoice price paid for the vehicle. If you intend to purchase a vehicle, be aware that the Paint Protection and Theft Protection packages are NOT a requirement for purchase. Read the agreements carefully and you will see that stated. Don't sign for these packages unless you like over paying for products with very little, if any, value. Also be aware the Value Protection Package (VPP) contains a nitrogen fil for $250 that can be purchased at COSTCO for $15.99. The Customer Service would have been rated higher than a 2 if I had not waited over an hour and 1/2 for a Finance agent to be available to finalize the sale. More

These people, are fantastic. (Warning this is going to get long winded) I have trust issues to begin with, add car sales into it and, you know how it is, but this place earned my trust. My husband and I went by so I could try out one of the cars on my rather substantial list of vehicles I was considering. Christian Palutis came out to meet us and wasn't the typical pushy sales person. He grabbed the keys for the 2019 Porsche Macan, which by the way was amazing to drive. On that test drive he got to know me and what I was looking for and some of the SUVs I had on my list and told me he had a surprise...the next text drive added a car I never would have considered, but was the most fun I had ever had on a test drive in my life. I think its was the least fun my husband had ever had. Then drove one of the Volvo XC90s. It was amazing! The comfort, convenience, power, performance, but there where still a few on my list I needed to take care of and it was getting close to time for them to close and didn't want to keep bugging them. That's when we met Jeremy Albo. My first thought was, "great, here's the manager and the pushy sales", man was I wrong. We all talked and discovered that they actually had the other 3 cars on my list. Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Jaguar F-Pace, Porsche Cayenne. The point of all of this, their selection cannot be beaten. Their customer service is absolutely astonishing. They wanted me to make a well informed decision and didn't rush or push me into any vehicle. They even gave me a fair price for my trade! Honesty and integrity at a dealership, who knew, right?! Christian and Jeremy, (and of course whomever is bringing in that selection of vehicles) have made me a Mears customer for life and I will definitely recommend friends, family and anyone who will listen, go visit them for their next vehicle! (When you do a good job you get more work!!) More
