McCarthy Ford Service Experience On May 5, 2025, I purchased a new Car Battery and 4 perelli tires from McCarthy Ford for my 2015 Ford Edge Sport. Upon purchasing Perilli tires from McCarthy Ford, I purchased a new Car Battery and 4 perelli tires from McCarthy Ford for my 2015 Ford Edge Sport. Upon purchasing Perilli tires from McCarthy Ford, I also purchased a new TPMS Sensor as I was informed by the Stevie (the Service Manager) that a new Sensor was needed. I never received any warranty documentation on the sensor, battery or tires, that I purchased from McCarthy Ford. On June 6, 2025, I returned to McCarthy Ford due to my NEW TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SENSOR malfunctioning and displaying “low tire pressure” reading. Upon my arrival, McCarthy Ford allegedly performed a thorough inspection of my vehicle which included: 1). Checked all fluid levels 2). Inspect wiper blades 3). Test Battery 4). Inspect Tires and Brake Wear 5). Inpect Safety Systems and components for leakes and damage. A multi-point inspection was allegedly conducted. To fix the issue, McCarthy Ford claims to have RESET TPMS Sensor and set air pressure. TO NO AVAIL. Today, July 13, 2025, I went outside to start my car and noticed that my TPMS Sensor displayed: Driver Side front tire – 1 PSI Driver Side back tire – 27 PSI Passenger Side front tire – 38 PSI Passenger Side back tire – 24 PSI Much to my dismay my brand new driver’s side tire was completely flat and the other tires are nearly flattened. Per the service department invoice dated June 5, 2025, all issues related to my TPMS was resolved. I am PISSED! McCarthy Ford did not fix the issue! I believe that the Perilli tires are defective……… I WANT MY CAR FIXED AS I PAID MCCARTHY FORD $1,461.73 for services that I apparently did not receive. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! More
So about a 1 1/2 ago I took my car to this dealership in alsip becuase my engine light came in. Sam, from the serivce department infrom me that I needed a new motor long block because the coolant was leakin alsip becuase my engine light came in. Sam, from the serivce department infrom me that I needed a new motor long block because the coolant was leaking. However, about a year ago it was the same issue with the engine where the coolant and oil was mixing. It was a manufacturing issue and they were suppose to put a new engine in but decided to replace a part of it. That was in the ford dealership in 9809 Indianapolis Blvd Highland, IN 46322. That's when I learn from Sam that Ford tells them what to replace and not to replace. Yesterday I called this Ford Dealership in Alsip because my engine light came on again and now I'm hearing nosies while I'm driving. Oscar, in the service department is the one i spoke to and he said that sometimes with these sensors they don't pick up things until later. The thing is i take care my vheicle , its 2018 ford escape with about 39,600 miles on it. So its not dogged out. It really seems that alot corners are being cut to save them money and things are not being checked. And that's going to cost me money and to having to constantly keep coming back. So hopefully this can be address soon More

I am so disappointed with this dealership, and will not do business with them in the future. I was a repeat customer because I THOUGHT they were fair people, but in fact they behave like desperate salesmen do business with them in the future. I was a repeat customer because I THOUGHT they were fair people, but in fact they behave like desperate salesmen without any integrity; as demonstrated by the GM, Pete Gleason. The car stopped running 2 days after purchasing. Pete Gleason, GM, refused to accept the car back. He was rude, and disrespectful on the telephone. The car was purchased for my daughter (who is a new driver) from Marty Livigni, salesman. He didn't bother to join us on the test drive (no problem, I understand possible Covid precautions) but he didn't provide any information about the automobile features-This would've greatly assisted my daughter; this was her first car. The finance person, Tom Castelvecchi aka TJ, blatantly lied to my face regarding Ford financing (as a prior customer). My credit was run through 4 companies without my knowledge or authorization. The lack of customer service, as well as the unprofessional behavior and dishonesty, clearly demonstrates that McCarthy Ford does not value me, as a person, or my business. More

If i were able to select a lower rating, I would. I found this dealership's practices to be dishonest, deceptive and simply repugnant. The salesman was totally dishonest and engaged in a numbers shell game; this dealership's practices to be dishonest, deceptive and simply repugnant. The salesman was totally dishonest and engaged in a numbers shell game; pretending to offer a meager MSPR discount while debiting and attempting to hide the exact same amount debited elsewhere. I was insulted and treated with a total lack of respect. I was able to broker a deal for the exact same truck at a different dealership for FAR lower than McCarthy's sales team offered; although they continually asserted that they were offering the car at cost. I strongly urge anyone considering buying here to beware. More

Quick, seamless and painless transaction I went in with my dad to trade in his old (15+ year) ford expedition, and we left in a new one. Buying/leasing cars is usually like pulling teeth I went in with my dad to trade in his old (15+ year) ford expedition, and we left in a new one. Buying/leasing cars is usually like pulling teeth for us, but I couldn't have been happier with our experience. We walked in with a budget in mind, but didn't know exactly what we wanted. After explaining our budget and some of the features we wanted in the new car, Ray had a selection of cars pulled almost immediately. There was no circling the wagons or any sales pageantry - he broke down what the costs were for what we were looking for, and explained the pricing clearly in layman's terms. We left the lot the same day in a new ford expedition, and came in notably under our budget. If you're looking for a no BS dealership experience, these are the guys you're looking for. More
