I scheduled a test drive of a Kia Optima and was linked up with salesman Ed Knebel. Ed is the kind of salesman I prefer in looking for cars. I don't deal on cars often at all, but when I do I absolutely ha up with salesman Ed Knebel. Ed is the kind of salesman I prefer in looking for cars. After the entire process of buying the Optima we test drove Ed has changed my perception of the process. His personality was the contributing factor for this. He was not the overbearing salesman! Ed took the time to listen to what we wanted and presented us with the different options and pulled up a car to test drive that we bought 1 1/2 weeks later. More
Ed was wonderful. I felt like he listened to me, was honest, and he helped me choose a car I was happy with. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I was there at the the very end of the day and everyone was very patient and stayed late to help me. We made a deal and then I went to the finance department. I don't necessarily want to name anyone as the person who worked with me was very nice and I appreciated his help in getting me financing. HOWEVER, he explained the warrenty that would be provided to me by McGrath (60/100,000 miles) and I was very excited to hear that this was "provided by McGrath" as part of my purchase. The cost was 40-50 per month more than Ed had told me. I thought it was because I chose Gap coverage. I was stressed about it but I know this coverage is important and it was explained to me well. The Finance person had all the papers and very quickly pointed out the places I should sign, initial, sign, initial here and there. I did so and should have had him go over the contact with me. When I recieved the contract in the mail the following week I was suprised to see I spent over $4000.00 on this insurance I thought was "provided" as part of the purchase. I was never told this was costing me $4000.00 in addition to the Gap coverage. I would not have made this choice had I understood the additional cost as the manufacturer provided a power train warranty. I called the finance department to ask about it and was told that it had been explained to me. I guess since I am a professional woman I feel like I "get" things that are explained to me and NEVER was I told this was costing me extra. Granted, I understand I should have asked him to slow down and explain what he was telling me to sign. I was too trusting and I guess I feel "had". Despite how fantastic Ed did at his job, I am not sure I will purchase a car at KIA in the future. I feel like I was duped in the financial department. Lesson learned. I do like my new car though and Ed Knebel is definately an asset to your company. More
I have not bought a car in several years and was hesitant about buying a car on my own because of my credit score. Johnny Eichenberger and the finance department at McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac worked with me, got me a fantastic interest rate and rebates, and I took my brand new Kia Forte home with me :) Johnny was very knowledgeable about the Forte, and is a very pleasant person to do business with. He put me at ease about buying a car on my own. Thanks to Johnny and McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac I have a new car and I will building my credit back up to the great rating I once had. They were also very reassuring that if I had any questions about the car or needed help figuring out any features on it to be sure to call them or bring the car in so they can personally show me. They also had the Bluetooth up and running so I could use the hands-free cell phone before I left the dealership. I love the Kia Forte and find excuses to go somewhere so I can drive it LOL I would definitely recommend a Kia to anyone and the best place to buy it.... McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac. I couldn't have a more pleasant experience buying a new car than with them. More

Came in to look at buying a new Kia Optima. Ed Knebel was the first sales person to me. Which is one of the things I hate about car dealerships. (salesmen chasing you around the carlot). So he pullled it in the dealership bay and showed the car to me. I took for a test drive.( which was a fully loaded EX) It was a good car and the one I kinda wanted. I told him the price I wanted to pay for it which was way under the MRSP of the car. But I came to by a car cash out the door! So instead playing the price game he went straight to his manger and brought him over. He couldn't meet me with the price I wanted. But he Brought me out a SX optima that had more options then the EX except the navagation unit. I took for a drive and liked it. They was able to sell it to me for the amount I was looking to spend. They said why they could offer me that car for that price was because it was a program car.(if you brought your car in for to be fixed or the dealer would drive it.) The only differance was that it had 107 miles already on it. So I felt comfortable buyingthat one. But I liked the EX one I was looking at but we was $2000 apart from each other. The color of the SX was actual color my wife wanted. I just wish it had the nav in it. But the sell went smooth. It took longer going through the paper work person and extra add on people then the sales person part. The cons so far is that I had to take back to the shop two times less of two weeks. The first time was for the horn. They forgot to pull a tab out in between the contacts when the car came in. The second time the check engine light came on. And they found a wire that wasn't getting a good ground. so they fixed it. Hopefully this will be last time I have to take it back. I bought other cars and trucks for McGrath sister location's and didn't have experenice with them. So I decided to give them one more try. They did send my wife a basket of goodies which was nice. But I would of been happy if they would've gave me accories though. I will be buying a new car for my son this summer for college and one for my daughter next summer. So I hope this car holds up to my exception. If so I be back to buy again. Hope they give a better deal. For buying more in a short amount of time. More

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We don't get off work until 5:00 pm and they helped us get our vehicle purchased even after hours. We used the KIA web sight to build the car we wanted, with just what we wanted down to the colors. But no-one for 200 miles had the color and options that were on our must list. Then we left our wants with a Salesman at McGrath KIA "Josh Stocker" the Kid worked for 10 days and found just the one, and when pen met paper, the number worked too, the price was were all the guiding web sights said we got a very good price. So with all that said We want to thank Josh Stocker and his manager TJ Thomason. It is not often I wright a 5 digit payment and think I still owe a THANK YOU :o) More
