The experience pretty much went downhill from there. Upon arrival we were met at the door by the salesman. His desk was pretty much a table and a computer, and he explained that he normally works at the used car lot, but was filling in at the new car side. He was very friendly, but didn't have the experience to answer any of our questions regarding the new car. I don't blame him for this. He wasn't properly trained to do the job. We finally settled on one and started the "negotation" process. The offer they made for our used car was pretty much offensive for the first round, and they added an "addendum" to the price of the car above and beyond what their website and AutoTrader advertised to the tune of $2000, The addendum, as explained to us, was because the car we were buying was so popular, and there were no used ones available, that this was added in as a markup - essentially supply and demand. Most consumers would view this as price gouging. Two hours later, very much pissed off, and only minimal success in negotiations we agreed to purchase the car on the condition that they detailed it inside and out (lots of grime from various road tests) and fill it up with gas. The sales manager questioned my request to fill it up, and I explained that was my deal breaker out of frustration. It was going to be my one "win" for the day or I walked. He didn't like it, but agreed. We moved to a separate building where we worked with the finance people. As we sat down the gentleman was very friendly and talked up the car with great enthusiasm. Granted my wife and I were exhausted at this point, but he wanted to explain the warranty to us which which we agreed to. Twenty minutes in to this explanation we realized he was trying to sell us an extended warranty. I stopped him and said we were not interested in spending additional money as we were already at the top of our budget. He left the office and came back, then resumed his explanation of the extended warranty package, then shot us a lower price than before. Again, we said no, but he continued with the upsell. I finally stopped him mid-sentence and told him to stop. I didn't want to be rude, but as I waved my hand over the paperwork and said "this is not going to happen. I've said "no" twice now, and if it continues we are leaving". He called his manager whom I could overhear asking if he had done this, or asked that, to which he responded "they don't seem to be interested". There was no "seem" to it; we were done with it. After about another hour we were finally finished with the financing. Totally exhausted and frustrated we couldn't leave fast enough. Our trade in and new car were sitting beside each other so we could get the rest of our belongings transferred to the new car. As we walked up the new car had been washed, but the dealer window sticker, manufacturer stickers, and all the little "helpful tips" stickers inside and out of the vehicle were still on it. The inside had not been touched and was filthy, and the floor mats were not installed. They DID actually fill it up with fuel. Now we were both beyond mad and frustrated. We both said "whatever. Typical" and just got in and left. Also - there is a ton of technology in this car. We received no training / guidance on any of it as I have found other dealers have provided to customers. Pretty much tossed us the keys and we were on our own. I spent four hours of my time cleaning the vehicle, install the mats, and peeling off stickers that are apparently adhered with Gorilla Glue. Figuring out the tech side has been more trial and error, watching YouTube videos, and asking others who own the same car. In all, we arrived at the dealership at 12pm, and drove off the lot at 6:30pm, vowing to never return. Long story short - there is no customer satisfaction here. Don't expect any helpful information in your car purchase unless you want to buy add-ons. If your expectation is to just write the check and drive your car away without feeling like your business was appreciated, needs understood, and that you had some control over your purchase experience, by all means go to McGrath. If you want to experience any of the above, you're better off ordering your brand new car through Costco. At least it will be clean! More

I was extremely pleased through the entire process of finding a car, and then purchasing it. I was looking at Sorentos for a car to replace my Acura when my lease was up, which isn’t until June. Drove finding a car, and then purchasing it. I was looking at Sorentos for a car to replace my Acura when my lease was up, which isn’t until June. Drove the Sorento and LOVED it! It was an easy process of talking numbers, then coming to an agreement, so I took advantage of the rebate and purchased the vehicle now rather than waiting. Morgan was my salesperson, and Raymond the Sales Manager. They were both very patient with me while I decided what color of Sorento I wanted. I really have no complaints about either one of them. One of the best and easiest processes I’ve ever experienced in my years of purchasing vehicles. A+ for Morgan and Raymond! More

My wife and I went to Kia to buy our first new car. We were lucky enough to work with Ray Lemaine who was incredibly honest, patient, listened to our needs, and was not pushy or aggressive with his sales. were lucky enough to work with Ray Lemaine who was incredibly honest, patient, listened to our needs, and was not pushy or aggressive with his sales. We stopped in to look at suvs. They pulled one from the lot and tried to sell us. We showed interest in one on the showroom floor next to where we were sitting. We went to lunch to think about offer and decided to go back and look at the one on the showroom instead. 30 mins later it was sold. We asked who bought it? They said no one but they got to keep at least one on the floor. Funny it was the one we wanted but cheaper than what they were trying to sell. More

Thought that was a fluke, not so su Strike 1 - took my car in last fall for an oil change and tire rotation, ended up with a damaged steering wheel. Thought that was a fluke, not so sure now. Strike 2 - took my car in last Tues for a routine oil change, ended up with a broken, scratched passenger door with torqued hinges...WHAT!! Strike 3 - NO ONE at McGrath's seems to care, the attitude has been one of making me feel that I'm putting them out for damage they caused!! Apparently my business does not matter to them! I had to push to get a decent loaner, one comparable to my vehicle. Also told i had to return the loaner with 1/2 tank of gas(really, are you kidding?) I told them I wasnt paying for the oil change and they said they'd see if they could comp me this one, again, are you serious? Disappointed in the treatment i have gotten, I had to ask for an "I 'm sorry." I will NEVER trust them again, sorry i didn't listen to my friends. Live and learn. More

When I presented my coupon today for an oil change (used these same coupons ,many times before) it was no good because "McGrath would lose money." Either you do or don't accept coupons?
