Service was disappointing. I made an appointment for 8:30 am on Friday, November 29th to get new tires. Everything started off well. I had a slow leak in my back left tire th I made an appointment for 8:30 am on Friday, November 29th to get new tires. Everything started off well. I had a slow leak in my back left tire that needed to be looked at. I requested four new tires, (car was at 58,000 miles and it was the right time to change the tires). I also needed an oil change. The service associate provided me with the overview and we were on our way. I agreed to the new tires and said I would wait. About an hour later, the associate told me that the technician who had started the work realized that he only had three of the necessary tires and that they would have to have someone get the fourth tire. The associate was frustrated and apologized. He offered me a loaner vehicle which I took. The staff that handles the loaner vehicles did a fine job in helping me. They made sure that I had insurance and a proper license before I was able to drive away. My only concern here is that they should be more aware that most customers do not want to leave with a loaner car. I don't believe that they know this. Also, as the last people to speak with me before I left very frustrated, I would have appreciated some words of empathy or concern that my service went south and I needed a loaner. I have been a loyal customer of McGrath sales, (third Pilot), and service, (could have just gone to a tire store and gotten my four tires versus McGrath). I was able to pick up my vehicle around 4:00 pm. Not very pleased with having lost most of the day. More

Service department is well run, and all the service techs are very friendly. Work took a little longer than anticipated, but it was a busy day at the center. Also would like to have had more feedback at the outset as to whether this dealership was going to honor service agreement I had with McGrath Honda Chicago, as I was told it would by a service tech on the phone at the time I scheduled the service. (It was eventually honored, but I did not know that until the car was ready.) Aside from that, Jerry was very helpful and friendly, and seemed genuinely concerned that I have a good experience with the service department. More
