It was very clear to me that he was an advocate for me to enjoy the experience more than he was simply looking to make a sale. I had not purchased a used car in a few years and this dealership was new to me as it was out of my home state. He was very patient with me and while the car itself was very nice, it was Shahid's customer service that truly made me comfortable making the purchase. Shahid proved to be an outstanding member of the McGrath Sales Team. If you are looking for a vehicle, I would very highly recommend you ask to work with Shahid. You will not be disappointed. More
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR FULL TRANSPARENCY, DO NOT SHOP AT MCGRATH ACURA MORTON GROVE. I had the most frustrating experience at this dealership Friday, April 10th. I inquired about an advertisement for an ADX MCGRATH ACURA MORTON GROVE. I had the most frustrating experience at this dealership Friday, April 10th. I inquired about an advertisement for an ADX lease for $259 a month with zero down. I sent the exact car to the internet sales dept and Sarah assured me the car was available. I stated that I understood tax, title, doc fees, and registration would be added but said I DID NOT want any dealer add ons. John N (sales mgr) took over and emailed a lease price nearly double the advertised rate. I said I needed full transparency to see how they arrived at that number and I reiterated that I DID NOT want any dealer add ons. Some numbers were sent that did not add up to the new lease price and I said I would be in Friday evening with my mom who was getting her RDX serviced. My family is loyal to Acura and this ADX would be our 5th Acura. When we sat down with the sales person we said again NO DEALER ADD ONS. John came in to work the deal and we asked for the out the door price of the car. He said “he was going to learn a lot about leasing on this transaction”. He was new to the role and did not inspire confidence when he could not answer questions about how the numbers he presented were calculated. He just wanted to concentrate on lease price. We said he needed to justify the price by providing the math used to get there. He kept going to speak to someone else when he could not answer our questions. After a bit he said there are accessories in the quote adding up to $1900. We were livid. We said we were very transparent from the get go and he was not. We had no interest in a paint protection warranty for five years on a three year lease. He went to the back again and said ‘they were no longer interested in doing the deal”. WHAT? Apparently, McGrath is not interested in being transparent and working a deal for a long time Acura family. Sadly, we would have driven off with the car that evening had John been better at his job and instilled confidence in us that he knew how the numbers he was presenting to us were actually calculated. I am left with the feeling that the advertised lease price was a bait and switch tactic. We knew that the lease price would increase from the advertised price and we would have agreed to a higher price, until they played games with the add ons we did not want. Additionally, the person who said they were not interested in doing the deal never sat down with us to see what could be worked out. That is not how you treat a loyal Acura family looking to obtain their 5th Acura. I cannot recommend McGrath, so I will be shopping the many other Acura dealers in the Chicagoland area to lease an ADX . More
saw they had a 2023 infinitI qx80 for sale called them up and spoke with the sales manager and asked about the vehicle. Was told that it was a great vehicle and nothing was wrong with it. So I go there the n and spoke with the sales manager and asked about the vehicle. Was told that it was a great vehicle and nothing was wrong with it. So I go there the next day with only a few hours to spend there since I have to go to work. Do a quick test drive around the block and purchase the vehicle. They have to deliver it to me since I have to leave and go to work, which they deliver to my house while I'm working. The next morning I start to drive it and notice an extremely loud noise coming from the engine ( fan clutch ). Also notice a warning light switch from 4x4 auto to 4x4 hi ( this was intermittent and would do it on and off. Also the rain sensor wipers wouldn't work ( after getting out of vehicle could see the gel pad wasn't on properly and had air bubbles in it causing sensor not to work properl. Discovered all this in about first 20 minutes of driving the vehicle. Thankfully it still has factory warranty and I had to call Infiniti and take the vehicle to the dealer. After 3 weeks the vehicle was repaired buy infinitI under warranty. They replaced the fan clutch, transfer control module and transfer control case with and electrical pin. Big money!!!!!!! I had to fix the rain sensor myself. def would not of purchased the vehicle if they told me about the issue. also bought an extended warranty from them which I'm sure is completely useless. Joke was on me, theres no way they didn't know about the issue can't believe a major car dealer with its own mechanics could be that incompetent. I would not purchase a vehicle form These guys they're your typical car salesmen tell you what ever they have to to get a sale. If you do buy a vehicle from them definitely bring your own mechanic and make sure you still have factory warrant. shady!!!!!! More
I’ve gotten 5 Acuras from this dealership. Ellison the manager is great. Super nice guy, respectful and very easy to work with. On the service side Awais is always my goto, helps me out a lot. I went to the dealership twice in the last nine months to try to turn in my MDX lease to get a smaller car and light of a divorce.
