I was shopping for a lease on a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and looking to trade-in my Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. After a few rounds of back and forth negotiations we finally got to a fair deal which I signed the offer sheet for but had to run home to get some paperwork to complete the trade as well as get my little boy home for a nap. It's not easy shopping for a car with a toddler in tow but you gotta do what you gotta do. About an hour after I left the dealership I got a call from Dana, the sales rep who was very helpful arranging the deal, and she asked me to bring in some additional paperwork upon my return to pickup the new Jeep Wrangler. Another 20 minutes go by and she called me back again to inform me that they could not honor the signed offer sheet any longer and the new deal would be almost $100 more per month than we originally agreed to! Talk about a bait and switch. Dana had me speak with the sales manager who reiterated that they were unable to move forward with the original signed agreement from earlier in the day but if I wanted to come back and look at different models we could see what we could make work. I told him no thanks, the only way I'd come back was if they honored the original offer sheet. The whole experience was going as best as can be expected with a car dealership up until their dishonest, unethical true colors were shown. Steer clear of McGovern unless you like to waste your time. More

Great sales experience Jeff Boyd set me at ease from the very start of our visit together. I walked away from my first experience at McGovern feeling as though I was treated fairly. I would definitely recommend buying from McGovern. Be sure to ask for Jeff! More
Liars and Cheats I bought a used Jeep Liberty from these people. The Finance Manager tried to force me into signing a loan contract that was 5 percentage points highe I bought a used Jeep Liberty from these people. The Finance Manager tried to force me into signing a loan contract that was 5 percentage points higher than I could get at any bank. Needless to say I went elsewhere for the loan. So much for the convenience of financing through the dealer. I tried to buy a service contract from them but the same Finance Manager insisted that I had to purchase his aftermarket 3rd party contract. I passed. I went to another Jeep dealer and bought a Jeep service contract for $800 less. Now for the vehicle. It had low mileage and had "been through the shop." I've driven it 750 miles since buying it 3 weeks ago and so far have had to replace the transmission fluid pan because it was rotted out and leaking, the front crankcase seal because it was leaking oil, a drive seal, heater fan because t stopped working and a brake line. The only saving grace s that I had purchased the service contract from another dealer.........THESE PEOPLE ARE THE WORST!!! More

I bought a soft top but didn't have the tools for the installation. The average installation time says is 3-4 hours. I got there and the service rep said the same thing. Then the head mechanic overheard this and said (with me standing there) "don't tell them that..it will take longer." It took them 7+ hours.. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and brought my Jeep in for my next service. I went in for an oil change and to see if they could fix my flat tire. I pointed to where I ran over a nail on the flat tire and the service rep said they could simply plug it and then rotate ALL 5 tires (which I asked for). I marked one of my tires to see if they would actually rotate the tires. I paid for the service, went my Jeep and took a look and the tire I marked was in the same spot. So I went to the flat tire they said they plugged in and I literally push it in with my finger. So, I went to back in to the service rep to ask about it and the service rep (with a xxxx-eating grin) said, "I told them to not try to hard if they couldn't find the hole..I mean I told them to rotate all five tires." So, I guess, since they did "rotate" all five tires, they must have deflated the 5th tire. What put me over the edge and why I'm writing this review is..I was speaking with a sales person while my friend was looking at Jeeps and the guy flat out said, "the service department charges so much / they add hours because they have to give oil changes (and other services) to a lot of vehicles for free because under warranty." Best car buying experience I have ever had Went to mcgovern after working a deal with Kaylene Brunnell. I was able to negotiate a good number without having to sit at the dealer for hours. I spent about a half hour negotiating my trade. The Sales Manager Christian Kassis was very personable and took the time to listen to me and we were able to agree on a trade in amount. Marwan Shabaan the finance person was awesome and I don't think I have ever had such a quick transaction. He explained everything clearly and obviously new what he was doing. The process of picking up the truck was so quick and smooth that I forget to leave them my trade ins keys lol. Execllent team top to bottom. I shopped a couple other dealers, some of which we not personable. I am happy I walked in to Mcgovern, they will get my business in the future as well More

Beware - terrible service and over charged My first experience after this ownership took over the dealer was a rude and disrespectful salesman that made my wife so uncomfortable she asked if we My first experience after this ownership took over the dealer was a rude and disrespectful salesman that made my wife so uncomfortable she asked if we could leave and look elsewhere. Immediately after we walked out I received a phone call from a sales manager apologizing for the salesman and saying they were new and working out some kinks from the previous ownership. We decided to go someplace else to purchase even though we live in right near that dealer. We had a great experience at the other dealership which was further away. When it was time for a first oil change we received an email from McGovern asking us to give their service a try. We were able to book online and it gave us the price for our services as well as a discount coupon that would be applied during the service. I arrived for the service and waited almost 2 hours for an change. They suggested the reason for the extra long delay was the vip car wash they provided. They left the car outside (in the rain) for me to leave in - instead of the empty covered service area driveway despite the fact that I was with an infant child. As I started to leave I recognized immediately that my car systems were changed from miles per hour to kilometers. And despite telling me the car was perfect (it's under warranty) and didn't need any additional service - I immediately got warning notices that weren't on when I arrived with the car. Upon arriving at home I could see thy only portions of the car were washed and the rest was filthy so I brought it someplace else to get it cleaned. A day later I got an email asking to review the service. Bc I didn't want to leave a bad review I called the service manger to explain my issues (and the warning lights - which were a result of them moving a sensor during the service and not putting it back). The service manager said he wanted to fix everything ( the sensor, poor wash, the overcharging) and he would arrange a time I could drop the car off and get back to me right away. He called me back at the end of that day and left a message saying to call him back. I did 3 minutes after his message. He never returned my call. 2 weeks later I called him and he said he didn't remember my name but was better with faces. I suggest you go somewhere else for sales and service. UPDATE- they emailed me to say they wanted to fix the situation and asked for a phone number. We provided it and they never called - they then emailed me by mistake thinking I was someone else and I explained I was the one with the bad service. They didn't care. More

Then comes Clayton, clearly not the experienced sales associate I was told I would be dealing with, not attentive to my questions and concerns, barely knew anything about the car or anything about cars. What really drove me away from buying the car I wanted was after the test drive he sat down and flat out said "are you buying today or not? because if not we are closing." really? what kind of sales associate is this? I had only came out to test drive the car but after the test drive I was excited and wanted to get the car I had also asked Clayton to give me a estimate on my car that I was trading in and I was told " we only give estimate on trade in if you're buying the car today, since you're not we can't give you a estimate" then he said the car I was interested in is a unique type of car and only a few people that come in looking for it so the dealership really isn't in a hurry to sell it, really? this is the worse sales experience I've ever had. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, OR CLAYTON. More

I brought my 1 week old car in after a fender bender....after 2 weeks of back and fourth in and out of the dealership (due to their lack of detail orientation and CARELESSNESS). 3 different problems were discovered and then discovered to have not been a problem.... I finally get my car back for good and find out my BRAND NEW car has a brand new 250 miles on it. Please please please think again before you take your car here. Not to mention when we were made to wait over 4 hours for a rental car when we were supposed to go home with my car. Once rental car was received no gas was put in it and we had to fill it up after it gassed out down the road. No, we were not reimbursed. More
