Went in for the state inspection oil change and rotate tires not the problem. Left the dealership engine light came on. Went back to the dealership they put it on a diagnostic machine and told me that the tires not the problem. Left the dealership engine light came on. Went back to the dealership they put it on a diagnostic machine and told me that there was a knock sensor that was malfunctioning. Then they tell me that the knock sensor had registered before 40,000 Mi beforehand. Now it's going to cost me $2,700 to get it replaced because it's out of warranty and nobody saw this problem before. Charging me $166 for the Diagnostics was outrageous and on top of that trying to get $2,700 out of me for something that should have been under warranty $45,000 miles beforehand. Service manager treated me like I was an idiot and do not appreciate it. Then I had to call about now my horn not working. Was working when it went into the dealership not working when it came out. Service manager was going to charge me another $166 for a Diagnostics on that as well I am feeling like your company all wants to do is take money from people and doesn't treat their customers very well especially loyal customers who have been with them for more than 5 years. Going out of your way to help a customer is the best way to keep a customer as well as one that would buy his vehicles from the same dealership. At this point I find that this dealership no longer cares about its customers and only cares about the dollar signs and does not want to take care of the customers with true compassion and understanding and just wants to take money from them again. I don't think I will be back to the dealership ever again I will be buying my vehicles from somewhere else. I feel that McFarland Ford does not care about his customers at all and especially the service department. More

I bought a new 2021 ford f350 there when it was Rochester ford now McFarland Ford. The clock spring in the steering wheel was making a clicking sound with 35160 miles on the truck it was brought in on 2-10-2 ford now McFarland Ford. The clock spring in the steering wheel was making a clicking sound with 35160 miles on the truck it was brought in on 2-10-23 the clock spring was replaced under warranty. Less than one year later it’s making the same clicking sound in the steering wheel and was brought in on 1-11-24 with 47,236 miles I was told very rudely when I called on 1-9-24 that I was 2 miles past the 12,000 mile warranty on there service warranty. I think it’s a complete embarrassment for ford and McFarland ford service department that my truck is going to need a third clock spring with 47,236 miles on it.When I told the service person I was very unhappy about it he rudely replied we thank you for that. And I said I will never buy another vehicle there he also replied we thank you for that also. Pretty bad business I’d recommend never going there for anything!! More

Benjamin helped me get my new Ford Maverick, and I was lucky to see the last one available on the lot! He took the time to show me all of the great new features and entertained me and my neighbor while th lucky to see the last one available on the lot! He took the time to show me all of the great new features and entertained me and my neighbor while they got me a $500 rebate for being an army Vet. He even laminated my new insurance ID cards for me when I came back a few days later to get the truck 'Simonized' and add an extra warranty for the tires and wheels with Jonathan. I continue to be satisfied with the service at this dealership. They are straightforward with any issues especially proactively. My Explorer is over 120K miles and is in great shape. Great experience! I had my Edge in for a brake booster replacement. The service was completed quickly and when they called to tell me it was ready, they told me abou I had my Edge in for a brake booster replacement. The service was completed quickly and when they called to tell me it was ready, they told me about the pickup/delivery service available. My Edge was delivered to me at work! This is the first time I've been to McFarland Ford of Rochester, but it won't be the last. I'd definitely bring my Edge back. More

I had my Escape in the garage for check engine light which kept coming on. A loaner was provided for my use while it was being fixed. After three times in the garage it is now fixed. Jason and the ser which kept coming on. A loaner was provided for my use while it was being fixed. After three times in the garage it is now fixed.
