Mcelveen GMC said we needed a new engine $6,000 While traveling alone to SC to visit our Grandchildren, my wife heard a noise in our 2013 Tahoe, she went into Mcelveen GMC, they preformed a multipoi While traveling alone to SC to visit our Grandchildren, my wife heard a noise in our 2013 Tahoe, she went into Mcelveen GMC, they preformed a multipoint inspection and told her the car was not safe to drive it needed a new engine $6,000 or they would sale her a new vehicle. She brought the Tahoe back to Baldwin Chevy in Poplar Bluff Missouri where we purchased it, they preformed a multipoint inspection and found nothing wrong with the vehicle. More

Great Service I had to get some service for my cobalt. I recently moved to the area and they were the closest GM dealership. Gone to mud We've used McElveen for many years and have always gotten great service. Last visit, we were constantly put off with, obviously lame excuses. It seem We've used McElveen for many years and have always gotten great service. Last visit, we were constantly put off with, obviously lame excuses. It seemed like they really didn't have anybody to fix cars. It took two weeks to put in a starter and kept saying 'It needed a complete diagnostic". That diagnostic wasn't done for the entire two weeks. They had a list of things to check and left a lot of items unfixed but the "complete diagnostic" said that I should "change the brake fluid."My son today told me he needed brake fluid and I thought, "They didn't even put a couple of ounces IN?" They didn't do a rather expensive repair to the air bags but they didn't even ask me if I wanted it done. It was a complete snafu and an unfunny joke. The people I dealt with were very nice, but kept telling me how it needed a 'complete diagnostic' which I determined was a big put-off. I noticed that everybody said the same thing. "It needs a complete diagnostic". It seemed like maybe they had one mechanic to make it a pretense of running a service shop to go along with the dealership.thing they did do well was deal with the warranty company on having some of the repairs paid for, but again, the people I dealt with were tops. More
