Today the fuel pump on my Audi A-6 failed for the third time within a year. The second replacement lasted 334 days and 10,052 miles and the third only made it to 26 days and 1,025 miles.. Three new fuel time within a year. The second replacement lasted 334 days and 10,052 miles and the third only made it to 26 days and 1,025 miles.. Three new fuel pumps in one year! McDaniel's warranty on this sort of part is one year but beware; the warranty period begins with the first one, not the most recent replacement of the same defective part! And so if the new fuel pump installed today fails as the last two have, I'll have to pay for Audi's fourth fuel pump with no confidence that they even acknowledge and have fixed the problem with their short-lived fuel pumps which means that if I keep this car there'll soon be another fuel pump in its future resulting in about a $1,400 bill! This is my 5th Audi and every one has been fun to drive but expensive to operate with different parts problems but similar unexplained repetitive quality issues.. My wife has a Lexus with 195,000 and virtually none of the problems I've had with Audis. As an aside, the follow-up questions below ask I'd recommend this service center. Yes, the service center did a good job with what they had to work with. But Audi's poor quality replacement part does an injustice to the people in the dealership. More
Bought new PHEV in fall of 2024. Elected to take the tax credit for myself. Just filed my taxes and my return/tax credit was rejected because the dealership did not input the sale in Elected to take the tax credit for myself. Just filed my taxes and my return/tax credit was rejected because the dealership did not input the sale into the IRS ECO website as stated in the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act which created the tax credit. After many months of emails with the manager, he informed me that participation in the IRS ECO was optional and that were not going to participate. Meaning: if you buy a qualifying EV/PHEV car from this dealership, you cannot get a tax credit. At the time of sale when I elected to claim the tax credit myself, they did not inform me either verbally or in writing that they would not participate in ECO or that I could not claim the credit for myself. They are not remorseful and state only that they are sorry that they cannot help me claim the tax credit. If others are experiencing the same issue, please post here. You cannot trust the management of this dealership--they do not care about their customers. More

requested to have my secondary key to be programmed after briefly loosing my main key that was subsequently found within 24 hours. Not only where they not able to program the secondary key, but my main key d briefly loosing my main key that was subsequently found within 24 hours. Not only where they not able to program the secondary key, but my main key does work. The dealership then shared that I needed a new ECM for the tune of $3500. They took zero responsibility that the issue may be related to something on their end. The car worked perfectly prior to sending to their facility. Adding insult to injury, the employee asked I leave their facility and have the car towed if I was not going to have the car repaired by them. Unless a resolution is provided, I will be contacting Consumer Affairs Dept, Attorney General and retaining an attorney. Stay far away as possible from.this dealership. More

My brand new Audi 2020 Q5 I leased for my mother left us stranded with only 2,000 miles and was totaled by Audi because the engine needed to be replaced. It’s been 65+ days with no resolution from Audi of C stranded with only 2,000 miles and was totaled by Audi because the engine needed to be replaced. It’s been 65+ days with no resolution from Audi of Charleston who keeps making excuses and yet to put her in a loaner which they have control over. Audi is still charging me lease payments , the dealership never gave us a loaner, and the manager still has not provided an update. I have owned all of the luxury brands and never experienced such poor service from a dealership. You spend the kind of money you do on luxury cars so you do not have issues and if you do they are resolved quickly. Taylor More
We had a fantastic experience at this dealership. Because my e-tron had insufficient charge to get us back home and the commercial e- charge station was out of service, we drove to the Charleston Audi dealer my e-tron had insufficient charge to get us back home and the commercial e- charge station was out of service, we drove to the Charleston Audi dealer. We explained our situation and the service department couldn’t have been more helpful. They charged our car and provided us with refreshments while we waited and even gave our dog water and a dog treat. This dealership turned a bad situation into a most pleasant experience. Thanks Audi of Charleston for taking such good care of us. Jane Allen More
