"Very poor Customer Service" Service department at Audi dealership McDaniel sucks! Not a trust worthy company, unprofessional staff members. Turnaround time for repair was nearly 10 days for basic work. In which a third party company completed most of the repairs. Jim nor Mccall are trained to interact with customers. Mccall said, he was calling me from his backyard in regards to my concern; however it sound like he was still sleep and didn't care about my concern. My vehicle was involved in an car accident; I was not at fault. Statefarm agreed to pay Audi daeler service the difference via a supplemental check base upon the price difference of the original quote. Proof of payment has been electronically sent to Jim per his request and a check issued 11/22/17 for the difference to Audi dealer service. Jim and Mccall are refusing to release my vehicle until they are able to check their mail for payment. I am concerned as to Why are you penalizing your customer behind a 300.00 difference in which you are overcharging? Stop making excuses and take care of your customer's. If you guys dont get it together your business will continue to decline. I am very disappointed with your staff and their actions. My family and friends will be patronizing other businesses who value their clients. More
Disappointed with Customer Service 2017 Q7 had to be towed 112 miles to the dealership. Used Roadside Assistance, took an hour. Service said tow was covered by warranty. Regrettably, I wasn't told they wouldn't pay to get the car back to me. After two days to fix it, I'm driving 112 miles with my other car to get the Q7, or pay $295 out of pocket to tow it myself. All this because of a faulty battery, after only 7 months! What a great car, but based on the lack of service, I hope I don't need service from anyone with Audi in their name. Just sayin... More
Unhelpful, cagey salesperson I found a listing for a 2014 Jetta, which I went in to test drive. First off, the salesperson says I can't test drive because I only have an Indian li I found a listing for a 2014 Jetta, which I went in to test drive. First off, the salesperson says I can't test drive because I only have an Indian license, which I can accept. I ask to inspect the car before the drive, he just stands by, and gives monosyllabic replies to my questions about the tires, brakes, and so on. On the test drive, this pattern continues, and I barely get any concrete answers from him about how soon the tires might need to be replaced, how often the oil has been changed on the vehicle, how long will be the brakes last. All of these are basic questions any one would ask when buying a used vehicle. But I receive vague replies, approximate answers without explanations, and the constant reply, " I am telling you the car is in great shape." After I leave, I go get my SC driver license, and go back to test drive the same day. The steering on the car was stiff, like it didn't have power steering, and the brakes were slow to respond, which even I, a relatively less experienced driver, could tell. These concerns were met with shrugs and more vague answers. After this, each time I have called to ask for clarification on past servicing, or inspection reports, or even details of what servicing was done at this dealership, I get exasperated replies, followed by "Are you interested in the car or not?". This would've been my first car, and I did have a lot of concerns, especially since this salesperson seemed to be hiding something with the reluctance to provide any information. Truly a bad experience. More
Truly exceptional customer service My Q5 developed a noise while driving to Charleston on vacation. Called before we arrived in town. Buddy Baldwin worked to get me squeezed on Friday afternoon with a full schedule until Monday. Upon entering I was greeted immediately by Jim. Deann was very nice and helpful at write up. Facility has a Quattro Cafe with beverages, tv, wifi, and a good selection of magazines. Technician Matthias was great. He test drove with me to try to replicate the noise and looked over the car. This dealership has a very friendly and helpful staff. I've been an automotive service manager for five years and know what a team encounters while trying to deliver exceptional service. These guys all went above an beyond. Thank you all for your help! More
