Acura fails to shine McDaniels Subaru and McDaniels VW each had a two week wait time for oil changes. The fact that I spent $70,000 at the two dealerships over the past 5 McDaniels Subaru and McDaniels VW each had a two week wait time for oil changes. The fact that I spent $70,000 at the two dealerships over the past 5 years was not enough to get a 20 minute oil change at an earlier date. I called McDaniels Acura and was greeted with a friendly and professional service adviser (JD) who told me they would be happy to change my oil the same afternoon. That is service, or so I thought. Unfortunately, after taking two hours to change the oil, my car was returned without the engine cover! This was not discovered until I had returned home. No one has returned my calls or emails. Is it unreasonable to expect the engine cover to be replaced after an oil change??? And, where is JD when you need him??? More

Upon arriving at McDaniels Acura of Columbia SC. dealership from Raleigh, NC. my wife, myself and our dog (Kai) that we brought along with us that everyone their loved on so much they made her feel like she was familiar family to them, again thanks for that. We were greeted immediately and introduced to Willie who took us to our vehicle in the service department where it had been cleaned, detailed and filled with fuel. Willie took us around the the vehicle pointing out, demonstrating and explaining briefly things about the vehicle and assured us he would go into further detail later on that morning. Through many calls and text messages with Willie all the paperwork we needed was there and in order, now just the process of explaining and signing things, never have I had such a smooth process that didn't feel pressured in any way. After finalizing things and leaving the dealership along the way home we had to call Willie to get some info on some features that we couldn't figure out Willie talked us through everything that we needed with success, always telling us no matter what we needed just to call, again thanks for your kindness and professionalism,(Mr. Freeman) inside joke lol.
