Brian Lepic was my sales person.THis man exhibited the most professionalism and patience and knowlege in recent memory of purchasing cars. I purchased a new 2013 Camaro. Even when we were at a standstill on price negotiation, i left telling him and Tim Hiatt I still want to buy a car from you folks. I even visited a competitor during the intermim to look at a RS. that experience was a waste of my time, the sales staff was pushy, condencending, and the vehicle was a mess for a new camaro. It had 475 miles on it, was dirty inside and out, and had been personally used by Sales Management kids for prom, and parade per the condition of the interior. I had been looking at this car since June. I had gone to that dealership at least 15 to 20 times, to look at the car, compare vert to coupe, and just sit and play with the controls and mylink. i had even brought my son and girlfriend at different times. But Brian had the patience and had the knowledge of the car. There is nothing more frustrating when the customer knows more about the product (car) than the dealer. I wouild evened asked other sales men at other dealers questions to which i knew the answers to see if they knew the product. Brian was able to answer all my questions that I in fact didnt know. I did alot of reserarch on the internet, camaro forums, and i had 2 large files of information that i had gathered. THis information allowed me to select some features and options that i wanted in the end, ie. Flares, CLear Bra, and heritage grill. Brian anwered all my concernes about the seat tear, any scratches on paint, and the fact car was built a year ago. He was professonal in every way. YOu go in to dealership, the place is low pressure, low key, all dressed in same shirts. THis all gives the customer a view and idea of what may come later. THe cars were all cleaned, for most part, cars parked near Wendsy construction got a little dirty. But, thru phone texts and emails, and visits, Brian accomodated me. I admit i was, and am not the easiest customer to deal with, and i am sure employees thought i was a Nut case with the many visits i had made there. BUt this was alot of money to me, and i want to make sure the purchase is a wise one and one that i will be happy with. I would recommend this dealership hands down. I work in the credit Union industry, and have dealt with sales people and dealers since i started working in 1980. THis dealership should be the training ground for other dealerships. I had previously bought 2 cars from Brogden Pontiac, GMC. they are also a good dealership too. IN conclusion, i appreciate the treatment and honesty and low pressure and sales knowledge of Mr. Lepic. Mr Hiatt was also very easy to work with, and even the rest of the staff was pleasant and accomodating. THis cannot be said for all dealerships. I wish the best to the Mccarthy and MOrse OWners, and staff at this dealership and again, would recoomend Mr. Lepic at any time, or give a referral or vouch for him in recommendation. My son's 2004 Chevy Cavalier was towed 1/2 mile to this dealership. They told us they needed to replace the fuel filter. Total charge before taxes $835. I have never done business with Chevy dealers in the area before. I called three other dealers nearby. All three quoted the repair at $150 or more less than McCarthy Morse. I told the service attendant that I will pay the bill but never return again unless they drop the charge to the going rate the other 3 dealers quoted me. He told me his service manager was "too busy to talk to us". I have been in sales for over 30 years and know that I could never allow a customer to walk away with a poor feeling about my product and service like this. I paid the bill and will never return again. I hope the local paper prints my negative letter to the editor. Really, you could have made a satisfied customer return for more business if you would have just cut your profit a little. If I owned the dealership I would fire the service manager. He didn't even try to talk me off the ledge. More
My experience with McCarthy-Morse Chevrolet was excellent. From the time I emailed the dealership for more information on a used vehicle, until the time my car was delivered to my house, my servic excellent. He responded to my emails timely, was extremely professional and courteous, even went out for two test drives in the car with me so that I could make up my mind. He never pressured me, rather let me call the shots. The other thing I liked was that he really respects the company. He spoke highly of the general manager and the people he works with. That was refreshing. My experience with Chris Savell was wonderful. He was able to get me a better rate than I got on my own and I was literally in and out of his office in ten minutes. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and I already have!! Thanks McCarthy-Morse! More
I've had a number of bad experiences with car dealers. I have been convinced they are all crooks, so I was pleasantly surprised after my experience at McCarthy-Morse Chevrolet.
