The Sales I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Accent from Hyundai of Wesley Chapel on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Here are some of my thoughts and opinions: 1. The Salesman, John Demarco : Great person to work with. He was friendly, straightforward, reasonable, knowledgeable, and honest. He’s a good guy – I absolutely recommend him. 2. The Dealership in General: The cars we wanted to see were stored on an adjacent, unpaved lot. It was all grass. The ground was wet and muddy. It really seemed like a third-rate used car outfit. Our salesman did the best he could to brighten up the experience and make it as convenient as possible. But it was a weird area to look at cars, especially with my son and fiance tagging along. 3.The Finance Guy: He added extras into the sales contract without talking to me about it, and then told me to sign. His explanations about certain fees were vague and condescending. He shredded and reprinted the contract three times before he produced a version that reflected the deal John and I constructed earlier. As a side note, I want to mention the Service Department. I own a second car – a 2009 Hyundai Elantra. I bring the Elantra into the service department from time to time. These guys are excellent. I have nothing but positive feedback for the service department. They’re quick and reasonably priced – even for the bigger jobs. Every single person in the service department is extremely friendly and respectful. More
Amazing Experience I had been researching Hyundais for a couple of years...when I was ready to buy I contacted Wesley Chapel Hyundai via email about a Sonata. They were I had been researching Hyundais for a couple of years...when I was ready to buy I contacted Wesley Chapel Hyundai via email about a Sonata. They were very quick to respond. Jason Marrero was knowledgeable and accommodating. My work schedule is difficult at best and Jason worked around my schedule. In fact, we did most Q & A via email. When I finally had time to visit the dealership, he set up an appointment to test drive. They inspected my trade while I test drove the Sonata (I drove 3) and by the time we were finished, they had my trade offer ready. Negotiations were pleasant (crazy huh?) and within an hour, we all settled on a price that was fair to both parties. As a consumer, it's important to research your purchase AND the process of new car buying. I went in understanding some of the finer points of the car buying/selling experience. As a result, I didn't have the mind set of being defensive and taken advantage. They gave me a very good trade offer and a fair price on the Sonata I wanted. From start to finish, I was at the dealership about 3 hours (from test drive to drive away). Thank you to Jason, Chris, Jasmine and the "Badger" for the pleasant experience :) More

Wesley Chapel dealership added extended warranty on contract without my knowledge. Went home and reviewed paperwork and found it. Went back 2 days later to cancel it. Three months later checked with contract without my knowledge. Went home and reviewed paperwork and found it. Went back 2 days later to cancel it. Three months later checked with bank, not refunded. Went back 2/7/14 and finance person said I never came in and cancelled. He didn't give me copy of fax he supposedly sent. Faxed again 2/7 and refunded to bank on 3/31/14. Lost money for 7 months. BEWARE of this scam. Check your papers well before you sign. Better yet, go somewhere else. I was distracted when signing papers. Had baby with me and they kept me there 4 hours. Kept saying it will be 30 more minutes. I purchase new care every 2 years. This was my second Hyundai. Love the car but won't use this dealship. Problem was finance manager and the way I was treated. More
Best service ever Although I had a bad purchasing experience with finance managers scam of adding on extended warranty, pretending he cancelled it and didn't. I'm sure he made a great commission on it. So it takes a lot for me to come back to this dealership but our service manager is unbeatable. He's honest, kind and nice to deal with. You couldn't ask for better service. Will never buy another car here but will definitely use service department. Too bad Barry couldn't run the whole dealership. I buy a new car every 1 to 2 years and they lost my business thanks to the finance department. great job Barry. Thank you. More
My husband and I decided to visit Hyundai of Wesley Chapel to look at and test drive a Sante Fe Sport. We had already been looking around and doing research on a Kia Sorrento, but decided to also go s Chapel to look at and test drive a Sante Fe Sport. We had already been looking around and doing research on a Kia Sorrento, but decided to also go see the Sante Fe and if it was something we were interested in purchasing. Upon arriving at the dealership we were greeted by a friendly salesman, Kyle, who helped answer all of our questions. We let Kyle know we were also looking at the Sorrento and were going to visit another dealership but may be back. Before we left Kyle introduced us to his Sales Manager, Ron Maine, who seemed like a very nice man. We had a brief conversation with Ron and he assured us he would work with us based on our TrueCar certificate price even though they were not a TrueCar dealership. (TrueCar is a website that is supposed to help you go through a no haggle process) We left and went to Kia but came back to Hyundai of Wesley Chapel because we liked the Sante Fe Sport with the popular equipment package (which included some nice features that the base model did not). Upon returning to Hyunda WC we asked for Kyle but Ron gave us a different salesman, Bob, because Kyle was helping another customer. Bob was ok, he didn’t seem as friendly as Kyle but as long as he was able to help us that was fine. We spoke to Ron and Bob and told them around where we wanted to be on the price for the Sante Fe Sport with the popular equipment package. They both went back to Ron’s office and Bob came back with a number about $5,000 more than where we told him we wanted to be. I looked at the number and said there is no way that’s happening. This went back and forth for quite some time. Bob seemed to be getting quite irritated with the situation and my husband and I definitely had enough so when he came back with his new offer (after about 3-4 times) I got up and said we’re leaving. On our way out Bob sarcastically said “Have fun in your new Kia.” My husband and I did not end up with a new Kia. We went to Courtesy Nissian/Hyundai of Tampa off of Hillsborough Ave and purchased the same exact vehicle that Wesley Chapel kept screwing us around on the price for a wonderful deal! Our salesman Glen Gasbarro was very pleasant to work with and helped us get right where we wanted to be price wise. I was tempted to drive my new car, the exact same one I was told I could not get for that price, back to Wesley Chapel but decided instead I would send all my referrals to Glen at Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa instead and let everyone I can know about my terrible experience at Hyndai of Wesley Chapel. I love my new Sante Fe and am very pleased with my purchase. If you want to pay thousands more than I recommend you go to Hyundai of Wesley Chapel but if you want friendly service at a fair price than go see Glen Gasbarro at Courtesy Nissian/Hyundai off of Hillsborough Ave! When I came in to the dealership the atmosphere was very calming. i was greeted at the door> My salesman greeted me with in 3 minutes in which I did not have to wait and extensive amount of time. He made me feel comfortable as far as what I could afford. Overall great job and excellent service and would most definitely recommend a friend to come in for a new or used car purchase. More

Earl provided great customer service. Found the car we were interested in online, called dealership, and spoke with Earl. He confirmed the details and we visited later in the afternoon. No pricing games. Very upfront and informative. We had two cars to trade in, and we were happy with the trade value. Chris in finance was equally helpful. He provided a better-than-advertised interest rate and better than our credit union. Paperwork was prepared quickly. Easily the best car buying experience we have had. Traveled over 50 miles from Manatee County. More
