Purchased a 2023 Chevy Colorado with 23k miles on it. I paid nearly 3k in dealer/shop fees for the vehicle allegedly being run through the Mazda of Wesley Chapel service department. Five days after pur I paid nearly 3k in dealer/shop fees for the vehicle allegedly being run through the Mazda of Wesley Chapel service department. Five days after purchase, my vehicle is in for repairs at a Chevy dealer because that's where Mazda of Wesley Chapel recommended. I am currently without a vehicle, five days after purchasing it, and it could be up to a week because of a part being on back order. I've contacted the dealership, the salesman, been to the service department, and nobody seems to care. This place has terrible customer service, an even worse service department, and their word and 90 day-3000 mile warranty when purchasing, is garbage. NEVER AGAIN!!! More
They lied about the dealer fees to get us in the door (knowing that we were coming from 4 hours away), lied about the ability to pay in cash (they asked I the beginning if we were financing or paying cas (knowing that we were coming from 4 hours away), lied about the ability to pay in cash (they asked I the beginning if we were financing or paying cash, but then stated at negotiation that they do not make cash deals), and lied about the extended warranty. The finance manager said it was 10 years from the date of purchase or 120,000 miles from the current mileage, which would have covered the car to 160,000 miles. We specifically asked and he gave us a definitive answer, there was not a misunderstanding. We found out later this is a lie. The warranty covers 10 years from the date of manufacture or 120,000 miles from 0. Then, they took forever to submit our paperwork to get the tag. It took 2 temporary tags and countless calls to finally get it. Any time we called we were either hung up on or promised a return call that we never received. They also did not return emails. All in all we got an ok deal on a good car. But we would never use this dealership again. Would rate them in the negatives if I could. More
I buy a lot of cars, upwards of 20-30 a year for my multiple businesses, and for personal use, and buy mainly from dealers like Ferman and some little ones, auctions, private, etc. I was searching for multiple businesses, and for personal use, and buy mainly from dealers like Ferman and some little ones, auctions, private, etc. I was searching for a dealer nearby my house that I can go to for all my cars moving forward, one stop shop basically. I contacted Mazda of Wesley Chapel about a used Pathfinder and told them it would be 2-4 cars at that time with more in the near future. Anthony was great on the phone, told me he can get whatever I wanted from auction, or other dealers, and told me to come in. I went in and first, the Pathfinder was in great condition - sold me immediately once I saw it and the CarFax. The second car, a Chevy Malibu was tore up, every body panel needed body work or replaced all together - I declined that. Israel (salesman), who was fantastic, brought me out a VW Passat, which I was initially hesitant about. I test drove it and we both noticed unevenness in the front end, and tire noise. Israel informed me that new tires were to be replaced on it. I sat down and told the manager, Jose, that I was interested and he came back with Mazda Pro Packages on both (which should not have done and said "it is mandatory") which is a huge bait-and-switch. I told him I do not pay addendums, he removed it off the Pathfinder no problem then said the Passat since he is "putting a complete set of tires on it," he needed it to make a profit. I told him "okay I will just buy the Pathfinder today then, no big deal." He came back without the advantage program and said "I will do this for you." Okay, sold. The Pathfinder was a spot delivery, good to go. The Passat needed a few days for tires. Israel messaged me Saturday night saying the Passat was good to go, all new tires on. Sunday, I go down and notice they only did 2 tires and left the bad ones on the front (fwd car). I brought this up and Anthony said "you bought 2 cars, go to finance, we will figure this out Monday, we got you, we'll hook you up." Did I get a call Monday? Nope. I had to call in and apparently manager, Karim said he wanted Jose to discuss with me and he was off Monday. Tuesday afternoon, I call in and get told Jose was actually off Tuesday. Friday morning I finally spoke to Jose, and he said "I told you new tires, not a complete set. I am not putting tires on that car. That I am not doing." I was told opposite. I emailed Karim 2 times, no response. Even Israel called me saying "I'm on your side, I heard the same thing you heard." If you want lies, bait-and-switch tactics, scam artists, managers who simply do not care, go here. My sister-in-law wanted a new CX-5, and I gladly took her to Ferman Mazda where she got more offered for her trade and got treated with respect. Moral of the story, get it all in writing, go to an actual good dealer (Ferman or Mazda of Clearwater), and do not trust General Sales Managers that seem to bounce between dealers... I was about to trade my 23 Ram 3500 Dually in for a used truck there too. Glad I didn't. For the future, all my cars will be bought at Ferman, over $450 worth of tires I was promised. More

What an awesome experience! I had been searching for a vehicle for several months. Finally decided to get another Mazda because of its safety plus rating with IIHS. Visited C I had been searching for a vehicle for several months. Finally decided to get another Mazda because of its safety plus rating with IIHS. Visited Classic Orlando to acquire a new CX-30 Premium. When we did not agree on the purchase price the finance director told me "I was in the wrong car." I told her "maybe I'm at the wrong dealership" and walked out. A few weeks later, last Sunday travelled to Mazda of Wesley Chapel. Introduced to salesperson Charlie Epting, Jr. Charlie is so freaking knowledgeable about Mazda vehicles that before you even test drive the vehicle Charlie gives you a 30-40 minute presentation on EVERY feature of the car, from the outside to the inside. I had built this car on MazdaUSA.com many times and thought I knew it. However, when Charlie educated me on the CX-30 Premium starting from "Information" in the Infotainment system to Settings", I was blown away. Coming from a 2016 Mazda3 Hatchback (which I absolutely loved), Mazda's CX-30 Premium superior safety ratings, advanced technology, exquisite styling, sportiness, and luxury, confirmed that this was the right car for me. Charlie showed me how every feature of the CX-30 works. Their finance director, Abdul and I negotiated on a fair price, which was $1,000 less than what I had offered Classic Mazda. As a female purchaser, I will tell you that Charlie is friendly, he is helpful, he is respectful, he is patient not pushy, and he is an EXPERT on Mazda vehicles. Charlie does not pressure you. I still must learn how to "navigate" my new Mazda so I can get maximum performance from it, but Charlie has made himself available for "after purchase assistance." If you are in the market for a superior and safe vehicle, I would highly recommend that you get with Charlie Epting, Jr at Mazda of Wesley Chapel. Charlie, thank you so much for the "10+" car buying experience. P.S. when Charlie introduced himself, he gave me his business card, did not even look at it. Folks, Charlie is numero uno, sales title "VIP Product Specialist". More
This is a follow up to my previous review. I have now owned my vehicle for nearly 3 months and still do not have a proper registration for it. I have 14 unreturned calls and emails to the deal I have now owned my vehicle for nearly 3 months and still do not have a proper registration for it.
