Haunting Noise In a nutshell... I have been bringing my 2004 Mazda 3 to the shop for several years now. About two years ago... a noise in my drive train started dri In a nutshell... I have been bringing my 2004 Mazda 3 to the shop for several years now. About two years ago... a noise in my drive train started driving me a bit crazy. Issue was... it only did it when there wasn't a mechanic around. I put up with acceleration vibrations and creepy noises that changed pitch with bumps and acceleration for two years hoping that it would someday be found. Several mechanics were tapped at several shops. Theories ranged from flex tube (exhaust) to timing chain to sheild vibrations/resonations. Then about a week ago... We finally found it! "Bob the mechanic" here at Machens put his trusty ear to the test... pryed and pushed and finally theororized the passenger side motor mount was bad. Well $216 later... ALL of the noises are gone!! After removing the mount, if was obvious that the motor had been free-floating. The mount's rubber broken down... and even broken loose. Now I'm a happy camper! Poor Michelle and Dave at the ticket desk had to bear with me... and all my haunting noise reports for two years... trusting there was something going on and always being supportive... I never saw that "he's hearing things" look. They trusted there was an issue... and always asked the mechanic to invetigate. And last week the haunting noise went away. Thanks folks... I'll be back! More

Wonderful Service Department!! I have serviced my Mitsubishi Lancer about 4 times since owning it at this service department, and have always been lucky to work with Michelle Sexton I have serviced my Mitsubishi Lancer about 4 times since owning it at this service department, and have always been lucky to work with Michelle Sexton. She is absolutely wonderful and does her job above and beyond what is expected! Always very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to not only me, but others that come in throughout the day. That woman deserves a raise! Also, the service is done quickly and efficiently. I love the fact that they have a FREE shuttle to take you wherever you may want to go while waiting for your vehicle to be service! And at the end of your service, they also wash and vacuum your vehicle for FREE! All around excellent service facility. I drive 30 miles just to get my vehicle serviced here. Highly recommended! More
2013 Mazda3 A big thank you to Robert, he was so kind when I called and asked him if they would have time to sheck my cd player since I was out running errands, A big thank you to Robert, he was so kind when I called and asked him if they would have time to sheck my cd player since I was out running errands, after telling him the day before I wouldn't have time before next week, so took it in at 10:30, I pulled up Robert came out to greet me and they took my car over to the service dept, not only checking my cd player but checked everything on my car, I ended up replacing a filter while there, Robert took me over to my car while it was in the shop and I met Dean, service tech working on my car, very nice friendly and a very caring person, I have a cd player on order! after replacing the filter Dean brougtht my old filter over to show me it was bad, wow,that was a first! these people are definitely customer orientated!! Everyone I have met in service is excellent, they are all KEEPERS! thanks again Robert, Dean and Chuck More

We are 360 miles away and we decided on calling Machens Mitsubishi. I have say right from the begininng I felt I was was being taken care of. First class treatment. The service person Dave Hern went out of his way to make my wife comfortable in dealing with the situation from miles away. Dave, I also deal with customers on a daily basis and my hat is off to you, job well done. You just landed a customer. We have many students from our area that attend Mizzou and I will now be recommending Machens for any new/used car purchase as well as their first rate service dept. Fast and Friendly Michelle is amazing! I needed tires for my Abarth, and without making me feel like I was asking too much, got me in within 1 1/2 hours and even manage Michelle is amazing! I brought my car in thinking that I was going to be spending several hundred dollars on service. I had been hearing a strange noise near the front axle. After inspecting my vehicle, I was delighted t spending several hundred dollars on service. I had been hearing a strange noise near the front axle. After inspecting my vehicle, I was delighted to hear that there was nothing major wrong with my car and it was just a simple fix. The shop knew I was prepared to spend a lot of money and instead of taking advantage of that, they were very honest and serviced my car for under $70. I have been to other shops and dealers who have taken advantage of me, but have never had a single issue with the Joe Machen's group. We have serviced three vehicles with them and recently bought a new Toyota from them. We will continue to be repeat customers. Thank you Joe Machens! More
The entire staff at this service department has been pleasant and helpful in dealing with me and my 20 year old RX7. Michelle Sexton is a pleasure to work with.
