The staff is friendly and make you feel like family. No pressure and straight forward answers. They follow-up with emails and communication after the sale to be sure you are happy and to see if there is anything you need. I continue to use them for servicing my vehicle even though it is nearly an hour drive for me to get there. I love the service coordinators. Marlena has always been great. Recent visit I was with Anthony G. He went above and beyond and made me feel like an important part of the Tyrone Square Mazda family. More

Horrible Customer Service After much debate and research, my wife narrowed it down to (2) vehicles that she liked, the Mazda CX9 and the VW Atlas. Both vehicles are very nice, After much debate and research, my wife narrowed it down to (2) vehicles that she liked, the Mazda CX9 and the VW Atlas. Both vehicles are very nice, comparable in price at the trim level we were looking at and come with the options we were looking for. I was looking for a low mileage lease (my wife barely drives anywhere) and had been contacting dealers inquiring on some “rough” numbers. I live in Pinellas County and Tyrone Square Mazda is decently close to my residence. I called and spoke with the “New Car Sales Manager” who I believe whose name is Darius. I kindly explained to him that I have Tier 1 credit, was looking for a lease and wanted to know some rough numbers, as I was shopping around. I asked for the Lease Terms and dealer fees involved, depreciation value, money factor, etc. I explained that I was going to have a vehicle trade and wanted to run the numbers on my end before going to the dealership in effort to not waste anyone’s time. Darius told me my monthly payment would be “around $400.00 a month” but refused to provide any other information. I asked him how he came up with this number, and he stated that he was unwilling to provide any numbers until I am at the dealership because he wants my wife to sit in the vehicle and drive it. Again, this is not my first time buying/ leasing a vehicle and with my excellent credit, I know what terms I qualify for, furthermore we knew we were going to purchase one of the two vehicles that weekend. He kept trying to set up an appointment to get me on the lot and completely disregarded everything I was saying. I explained to him that I was speaking with several other dealers that provided the requested information. I then provided him with several sets of numbers from other dealers, but he again refused to entertain my request by simply saying “come on down to the dealership and we can do that for you.” In todays day and world where you can buy a car online (which I would never feel comfortable doing) and all the information available online, I simply couldn’t understand his thought process of refusing to work with me and demanding that I come to the dealership. I guess Tyrone Square Mazda doesn’t need the business. To make a long story short, I ended up leasing the VW from Lokey instead because (shocker) they provided numbers and we actually worked the majority of the deal over the phone. Lokey earned my business, where Tyrone Square simply did not! I was in and out of Lokey in less than an hour due to this, which was great considering I had my young daughter and wife with me. The comical part of this is that Darius called me the following week asking if I was ready to come into the dealership and take a look at the vehicle. I simply laughed and explained that I had bought a vehicle elsewhere while recommending to him to “get with the times” and actually be competitive with other dealers. Darius was obviously playing games and most likely used to dealing with less knowledgeable buyers, which General Manager/ Vice President Dave Fogel, should be ashamed of the way this was handled and it have corrected immediately. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from this group, there are way to many other dealers out there!!!!! More

GPS does not work I'm leasing at CX3 and the GPS has malfunctioned for 1-1/2 years. I have tried to get it fixed but they have been either unhelpful or unresponsive. I've been using a GPS before they invented ones for cars and never had a problem before. The last two cars I had, Honda and Hyundai worked perfectly. My salesman was Ron, he did a great job of helped me find the perfect car and did everything in his power to help me make the right decision and to get the best deal possible. Very helpful and genuinely a great man. I had a very pleasant experience and would recommend Ron and Tyrone Mazda to everyone. This is the very best dealership Saint Petersburg has to offer. The staff will make you feel glad that you made the stop and will work hard to get you driving in your new Mazda, But only if you’re in the market for one. Ron is one the very best. All I can say is if you are in the market for a new car, put this place on your list to stop and drive a Mazda, you will be hooked and will becomes a loyal customer like I have... I ended up buying a new version of the same car after I had test driving 2 new 2019 cars. My new 2019 Mazda MX-5 exceeded all of my expectations to include of all of those articles that I had read up on at the social media sites at this point. Even though it is a new version of my old 2006 Mazda MX-5. It was a totally new car from the ground up and exhilarating to drive with all of the new features. Tyrone Square Mazda is a great place when buying and after the sale experience is over. I receive the attention of several individuals at the dealership that day who were more than happy to pitch in help expedite the process and to congratulate me on my new car purchasing experience. I don't feel any reason to switch to another dealership as long as I reside in Pinellas County. From sales, financing through service this auto dealership is top notch I highly recommend them. More

Some dealers still like to over sell to women. Made some $$$ but lost me as a customer. My Lexus cabin air filter cost me $12.00 plus $28.00 for instillation. More
