The people at Tyrone Mazda are all nice, in all areas. My experience trying to purchase a new 2020 CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve AWD. 5/16/20. My wife is a healthcare worker and was told by the salesman at Tyrone Square Mazda she qualified for the $1000 healthca Touring Reserve AWD. 5/16/20. My wife is a healthcare worker and was told by the salesman at Tyrone Square Mazda she qualified for the $1000 healthcare incentive we sent through her medical licenses three days prior and also three other Mazda dealers confirmed she qualified for this incentive while we were shopping prices we went to The dealership with our deal in writing they had my wife sitting in the car pairing her phone to the car and showing her all the features they want as far as to put our license plate on the back of the car when a manager came out of the store while the salesman was sitting in the car with my wife and said sorry she does not qualify for the healthcare worker incentive and the car would be $1000 more! Needless to say we had to pull the plate off the car and leave the dealership. My wife was very unhappy. They are either incompetent in their job or unethical and dishonest you decide. based on the fact that three other Mazda dealer say she qualifies leads me to believe the second they are dishonest. They were hoping that far down the line that we would just roll over and buy the car anyway for $1000 more. The old bait and switch! Upon getting home I called a couple other Mazda dealers I have one that's over 2 1/2 hours away that's going to deliver the same car to my door for only $100 more. More

I dealt with Jason the sales manager who was excellent and Dave a salesman who was wonderful and was my advocate in the dealership throughout the experience. I am very pleased with how they in no time turned my bad experience into an EXCELLENT ONE!! Thank You Tyrone Mazda you now have a loyal customer for life! I am livid, i visited the dealership yesterday and met with Hollis (sales guy). I found a car I liked but was not 100% so I left. After discussing with my family I called him back and let him know I would take the car for such and such a price he let me know he needed to get approval from his manager. He texted me back and said quote “Talked to manager on the phone. He said if that’s your happy place then come in. You want to be here at 11? I arrived at the dealership today they would not honor the agreed price after running my credit etc. Hollis was not there I had the finance manager tell me he would not honor the deal and that was not a yes! I feel like because I am a female they thought they could take advantage of me! I am very displeased with them and plan on taking my business to one of the many different Mazda dealerships in this area. FEMALE BUYERS BE AWARE!! More

So professional, kind and honest! I got an amazing deal on a 2020 Mazda CX30 for my daughter. I love all of the safety features in this car and they also gave me an awesome deal on a 3 year maintenance plan. My daughter LOVES her car and I couldn't be happier. In the future, I will only buy cars from Tyrone Square Mazda. The best customer service in the business! Thank you for you kindness and patience! More

The staff is friendly and make you feel like family. No pressure and straight forward answers. They follow-up with emails and communication after the sale to be sure you are happy and to see if there is anything you need. I continue to use them for servicing my vehicle even though it is nearly an hour drive for me to get there. I love the service coordinators. Marlena has always been great. Recent visit I was with Anthony G. He went above and beyond and made me feel like an important part of the Tyrone Square Mazda family. More

They looked at my situation and tried to find the right car for me. I will definitely do business with them in the future. More
Horrible Customer Service After much debate and research, my wife narrowed it down to (2) vehicles that she liked, the Mazda CX9 and the VW Atlas. Both vehicles are very nice, After much debate and research, my wife narrowed it down to (2) vehicles that she liked, the Mazda CX9 and the VW Atlas. Both vehicles are very nice, comparable in price at the trim level we were looking at and come with the options we were looking for. I was looking for a low mileage lease (my wife barely drives anywhere) and had been contacting dealers inquiring on some “rough” numbers. I live in Pinellas County and Tyrone Square Mazda is decently close to my residence. I called and spoke with the “New Car Sales Manager” who I believe whose name is Darius. I kindly explained to him that I have Tier 1 credit, was looking for a lease and wanted to know some rough numbers, as I was shopping around. I asked for the Lease Terms and dealer fees involved, depreciation value, money factor, etc. I explained that I was going to have a vehicle trade and wanted to run the numbers on my end before going to the dealership in effort to not waste anyone’s time. Darius told me my monthly payment would be “around $400.00 a month” but refused to provide any other information. I asked him how he came up with this number, and he stated that he was unwilling to provide any numbers until I am at the dealership because he wants my wife to sit in the vehicle and drive it. Again, this is not my first time buying/ leasing a vehicle and with my excellent credit, I know what terms I qualify for, furthermore we knew we were going to purchase one of the two vehicles that weekend. He kept trying to set up an appointment to get me on the lot and completely disregarded everything I was saying. I explained to him that I was speaking with several other dealers that provided the requested information. I then provided him with several sets of numbers from other dealers, but he again refused to entertain my request by simply saying “come on down to the dealership and we can do that for you.” In todays day and world where you can buy a car online (which I would never feel comfortable doing) and all the information available online, I simply couldn’t understand his thought process of refusing to work with me and demanding that I come to the dealership. I guess Tyrone Square Mazda doesn’t need the business. To make a long story short, I ended up leasing the VW from Lokey instead because (shocker) they provided numbers and we actually worked the majority of the deal over the phone. Lokey earned my business, where Tyrone Square simply did not! I was in and out of Lokey in less than an hour due to this, which was great considering I had my young daughter and wife with me. The comical part of this is that Darius called me the following week asking if I was ready to come into the dealership and take a look at the vehicle. I simply laughed and explained that I had bought a vehicle elsewhere while recommending to him to “get with the times” and actually be competitive with other dealers. Darius was obviously playing games and most likely used to dealing with less knowledgeable buyers, which General Manager/ Vice President Dave Fogel, should be ashamed of the way this was handled and it have corrected immediately. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from this group, there are way to many other dealers out there!!!!! More
