My best car buying experience in 44 years of buying cars I flew into Tampa from Chicago, rented a car, and drove to the family condo in Osprey. My purpose was to spend the 5 day holiday weekend to buy a car I flew into Tampa from Chicago, rented a car, and drove to the family condo in Osprey. My purpose was to spend the 5 day holiday weekend to buy a car in Florida, not the rust bucket state of Illinois. My first stop was Mathews-Currie, and I only intended to look today, not buy. But I saw 3 cars I would buy, and 1 looked new. A genuinely friendly salesman came by and offered to help. He showed me the car I wanted, but it was above my budget, more so when you consider taxes, tags, etc. He got me water and said, "test drive it, maybe good things can happen." Well, I did and he made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I drove to the condo, got my checkbook, bought the car. But now I had my "new" car and a rental! John said, "Get into your rental and follow me to the airport." He took me from the airport back to the dealership, and no kidding, helped a stranded motorist on the way. Who does this stuff?! The kind of guy you'll buy another car from, that's who. Thanks John. More

This was a pleasantly painless business transaction. No pressure, no games. Don is a good guy. When we picked our new car up on May 15, 2014, Don walked us through all of the car's features and connected our phones to SYNC and set up our Sirius radio with our favorite stations.
