He took the time to explain everything and even took a long-shot counter offer to his boss for us..........and got it approved. He helped us move our stuff out of the old car, then went with us to fill up the tank--at the dealer's expense. Very pleased with Jerry. Very personable guy. More

All the personnel I met were friendly and courteous, including the salesman.However,I went looking for an older model pickup, low monthly payments between $150 and $2OO mon., not much more than $10-12K minus trade-in and $2k Down. I kept asking the rep. the cost and the monthly payment and he kept avoiding an answer, though mostly courteous throughout. The paper I saw on his desk , in outstanding black letters,was $14,688. He said he was able to get it down to that. That, to me, meant the asking price, and with the (really low) trade-in amount and my $2000. cash, it would be in my affordable range. What I didn't realize was that the $14K figure was AFTER , not before my cash input,so the total net amount financed was over $17K, with about $250 monthly payments, which I became aware of after I had signed the barrage of papers. It was like getting caught in a rip tide and coming out of it (at signing time) in a daze, signing one paper after another and trusting that my interests as the customer, were more valued than the sale made by the representative. However, that didn't happen, and I'm burdened with a long term loan and high monthly payment, on a retiree's fixed income. Being up front in every step,based on the customer's parameters , limitations and wishes, and not 'making a sale' on the rep's wants, creating a possible long term hardship for the customer, is good for the customer, the salesman, and the image of the dealership. I've bought a number of pickups over the years at Matthew Currie. It appears that the vehicle I bought was a good value under other circumstances, but not mine. I trust my recent experience is not the norm now. More

Wonderful customer service!!! Hubby and I went "visiting" this Ford dealership kind of on a whim. I wanted a car for myself, but had not yet decided what kind. I kept vacillating. Hubby and I went "visiting" this Ford dealership kind of on a whim. I wanted a car for myself, but had not yet decided what kind. I kept vacillating. Do I want a Convertible, a foreign car, or an American made car. We saw several "cute" models, but nothing grabbed my attention. That is until I saw this cute little Ford Fiesta! I dealt with the best sales manager in the business! He was so willing to deal with me and went the extra mile to accommodate me. No condensending attitude, no belittling conversation, and talked to me as an equal. How refreshing! Travis Morales is the outstanding sales manager and Jared Nesmith is the business manager who also was a great person to work with. I highly recommend this dealership. More
You Cannot Trust These People! I drove two hours to the dealership to complete the sale. After waiting there an hour, they showed me the paperwork giving me $2,500 less for my trade than we had agreed upon. When I refused to accept this, they said they needed their mechanic to look at my car the next day, so I left. The next day they called and told me their mechanic said the transmission was shot and needed a $10,000 repair. I drive the car daily and it has been regularly serviced and know there is nothing wrong with it. But, since I reside two hours away I had my car towed to the nearest service department to confirm for them that my car and transmission is in perfect condition. When I gave them the paperwork proving this, they said they changed their mind and don't want the trade in car at the agreed price. I have completely wasted two full days of my time making two trips to Nokomis, unnecessarily and incurred the expense of towing my car to a local service department to prove the condition of my trade in car to them, only to learn that they were renegging on their agreement (unless I pay them at least $2,500 more than agreed). I don't know how this dealership stays in business and I would not believe anything they say. They cannot be trusted! More
2 1/2 hrs for oil, filter, lube and tire rotation. I was told at noon, which was my appt time it would be roughly an hour! When two hours passed and I confronted the service manager.... Even tho I am disabled and handicapped he refused me re-entry to the building! I was FORCED to stand outside in 82* heat and refused re- entry. THIS IS DISCRIMINATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes..... I was not happy but everything had to be hush hush cause the general population does not know their greed!!!! Ooohhhh BTW. Three different people also waited on me! What a circus!!!!!!! More

First of all, my husband and i purchased a vehicle one of their employees was driving. We wanted the tow package to be put on so they took our trade and gave us a rental until the tow package was completed. They kept it for 4 days. We came back to pick it up, filthy on the inside, dog hair everywhere and a dirty food plate under the passenger seat. It had 74 more miles on it then when we bought it. The hitch place is not 37 miles round trip...Got in it and drove it down the road the bearings on the front left were still bad and made a grinding sound when i took my foot off the brake and began driving. I called back and Edgar gave us yet another rental until it was fixed. Came back today after they "fixed" what they said was wrong. There is still a creaking noise when we take our foot off the brake and accelerate. Still dog hair and grease marks on the handles inside... We are NOT happy campers. Talked to Brad the manager and he scoffed it off and just apologized offering no help whatsoever. So fed up will NOT recommend this place to anyone. This is not how you are supposed to do proper business. More

Out of town emergency purchase. We had a 10 year old Explorer. It sprung a mysterious leak and being far from home I didn't feel comfortable taking chances driving it long distance. One of the sales agents, Tommy Fauls, walked me through the purchase of a truck. I was pretty stressed out but he was very helpful and made the situation pain free. I didn't get the "hard sales pitch". Tommy made me feel like I was buying a car from a friend and that's very important in today's world. I highly recommend Tommy Fauls via Matthews-Currie Ford for your next purchase. More
