Buying a Versa was like a Lexus experience! I bought a certified 2016 Nissan Versa note from Jim Smith at the Chris Meyers Nissan this am. I drove cars this week at other dealers this week and I bought a certified 2016 Nissan Versa note from Jim Smith at the Chris Meyers Nissan this am. I drove cars this week at other dealers this week and it was high pressure all the way. The other dealer were using every trick in the book and at age 63 I have seen them all. Not at this dealership. I had an appointment at another dealership to look at another car in the afternoon but Mr. Smith was so helpful and the deal was so good that I bought a car. None of the meeting 4 to 5 people peddling junk, just a straight deal with nice people. Mr. Smith knows his cars and this model. He explained pros and cons. Gave a brief honest comparison. Answered my questions very well even though, I cheated and asked questions I already researched. As a retired military officer, he treated me with dignity and was VERY helpful. The Navy taught him how to respectfully deal with people. I was impressed by his honesty and expertise both with the Nissan but the competition. He didn't knock other brands but gave me the information that I already had got from Consumer Reports that none of the other guys will tell you. If you want a Nissan in the Mobile area, just give Jim Smith a call. The rest of the dealership was excellent. Jim introduced me to the service manager who told me what to expect. The service area can be easily viewed from the waiting area which is important to a car guy. The finance manager was actually helpful even though I already had a credit union loan and was very professional. In conclusion, if you don't want to be treated like a sucker, just save your time go to this dealer and Mr. Smith. You will save time, stress, and spare yourself the hokey sales crap. Chris Meyers is the place you want to buy a car! More
