The two other salesman in there paul and gary are just as bad.They sold me a car that needs over $2000 in work to get running properly.I bought the car for $10,000. They lied to me about what maintenance was done,they lied to me about why the check engine light was on,they lied about the car having a spare tire,they knew there was major engine problems with the car.maMaureen got the car inspected to try and hide the problems.I had major issues with the car the second I pulled it off the lot,problems that were there during the test drive but they hid them by doing shady maintence. Maureen will avoid you and prolong the process for multiple days to purposely get you out of lemon aid law time frames.they kept my car for a week after purchase claiming all sorts of lies like getting it detailed and waiting on o2 sensor parts and what not.they've been playing this game a very long time and play it well.do not even walk on this lot,they go out of their way to hide issues,and avoid you and play nice the whole time until the time restraints set forth by law no longer protect you.I have never been treated so badly.what they do is completely illegal in so many ways but you will be left no proof of it because they'll deny you certain peices of paperwork that could show proof.if you do buy demand receipts for anywork done,and document everything that they say,do not let them keep you from getting it inspected,you must have it insepcted withing7 days. They are all rude and willlaugh at you the second you tell them you know you got played . Make sure you know your laws if you buy from hhere,but I suggest you take my advice and just stay away,do not trust google reviews there all fakes or done by customers while at the dealership,look at all the other websites they all have horrible reviews.just stay away and tell everyone you know to do the same. She sold me a car that was recalled and never fixed from 13 months ago and she sold me a car that did not pass inspection due to rotted brake rotors and pad from sitting so long. She took my trade in and sold it the very next day without the title. At first she refused to sign the title too so their would be no record of her ever having that car. She told me she had an extra key for me too, and thought it was funny that the key was actually missing from the port piece. I will be writing a letter that I can and will send to the proper people. It was very heated and I am shocked and stunned that a person would treat another the way she treated myself and my sister. If it wasn't for my brother, it would have been a horrible horrible day. With the police on the phone and then only did she say she would pay for brakes by Kia dealership. She actually wanted "her guy" at speed dee oil to fix my brakes and slap a sticker on. Maureen Foley of Martins Preowned auto shop is a bully. She is a thief and a liar. At 51 yrs old, I have never ever seen anything like it. I am begging people, especially those that aren't sales savvy, to beware of this woman. As far as carfax. I found out she gets "auto check" free and prints just the cover page and says "see, nothing" if she did carfax as I originally requested, she would have to pay the 40$. I had a bad feeling the night of my 12,000$ kia soul purchase and paid for carfax report myself. It was in an accident and she let me drive it at night with recalled brake stop lamps and rotted brake pads and rotors!!.. She is one evil evil woman. Marilynn More

WARNING!! STAY AWAY! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY MAUREEN FOLEY!! WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!! I honestly do not even understand how these people are still in business! THEY ARE CROOKS! ESPECIALLY MAUREEN FOLEY!! WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!! I honestly do not even understand how these people are still in business! THEY ARE CROOKS! Fortunately for me, my father caught this woman in her deceitful lying crookedness, however she still manages to try to get money from me for a deal that was cancelled do to her trying to scam me out of an extra $5000.00!!! She refused to refund me the money I put down on the vehicle plus the money I gave her to register the car the day we cancelled the deal. Maureen told me that she was not authorized to write out a check, HOWEVER, SHE IS THE ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSON TO ENDORSE THE CHECKS FROM HER BUSINESS (I know this because when I did finally receive my refund, the bank TOLD ME that they had to contact Maureen because SHE WAS THE ONLY AUTHORIZED SIGNED ON THE ACCOUNT)! Since she refused reimbursement, I put a stop payment on the check I had written out to her immediately after she refused me my money. Why should she have my money for services that NEVER took place!? Now, SHE'S trying to sue ME because of the fee that she incurred from her bank due to my stop payment on funds she should never receive because I never bought the car, AND Maureen is also trying to sue me for the court fees when she's the one who brought me to court!! There is A LOT more to this story and it consist of Maureen lying and lying and lying through the whole thing. There are NO WORDS that can explain my frustrations with this woman and her business and the way she even does business! So please I am just trying to warn everyone! STAY AWAY FROM MARTIN'S PRE-OWNED/SUNLIGHT AUTO SALES! She only cares about herself and scamming you out of everything you have! Her cars ARE NOT certified. Everything that comes out of her mouth is a LIE! She'll tell you that your car loan is for x amount and then you'll find out that the amount of the loan changes NUMEROUS times and it just keeps getting higher and higher in the amount! I found this dealership to be very desceptive , misleading , and fraudulent !!! Maureen will not answer questions with a yes or no . She tries to sell you a warranty and gap insurance that she pockets the money for and will show you a bogus kelley blue book value for a car that has more options than the one your purchasing from her . Sent me on the road with possible serious life threatening issues. Sent off with no registration and many mechanical issues that would'nt pass an inspection. Promisses, promisses not one ever kebt. There dealers lisence should be revoked immediatly before any more unsafe cars are put on the street. My advise to everyone looking to buy a used vehicle. First and foremost stay away from Martin's or you will regret you ever did!!!! She uses Mass law to cheat anything she can out of the consumer. Best not to even buy in Mass. The used car laws really suck bad for the consumer and gives the dealership many loop holes to screw you over and get away with it. The Law doesn't seem to care one bit about the fraud being commited. Once the car is off Martins lot, you will be evaded, lied and cheated. Warranty does not cover anything, Maureen will gladly tell you that after a week or so of trying to contact her. Her bussiness is all about stall tatics, to get her out of doing anything for you in the time limits of Mass law. She also is in kahoots with Mclaughlin Chevrolet, so make sure you read every last document and know exactly who you are realy buying the car from.
