After looking for a Pontiac G6 online I received a call from Chris Coffman stating that he was a representative from "Bar None" financing. He then proceeded to ask me when a good time was for me to talk ab from Chris Coffman stating that he was a representative from "Bar None" financing. He then proceeded to ask me when a good time was for me to talk about financing. After returning several phone calls he stated that his office was inside Bobby Layman Chevy. The meeting that ended up taking place was wildly different that anything the Chris lead me to believe. Chris who was not incharge of financing at all but was a salesman. Decided to try and shove a Chevy Cobalt down my throat and nothing I said would change his extremely high pressure sales approach. After three hours of him grilling me to buy the Cobalt and insisting that I take the thing for a test drive, I told him I was not interested in the car. At that point the meeting took another unexpected turn Chris became very rude and when that tactic didn’t work he brought in a second salesman to ask me the very same questions Chris him self asked me moments ago. The only thing that had any effect at all was telling them that I wanted at least a day to think about it. Immediately after leaving there I went to different dealership and ended up buying the G6 that I originally wanted. Chris did decide to call me early the next day just to "check up" after telling him the I decided to go with a different dealer he said "Thanks for wasting my time!" and hung up on me. My advice stay the xxxx away from Bobby Layman unless you have your heart set on Cobalt because that’s what you are going to get anyway. More

Don't bother considering Bobby Layman. I recently had Don't bother considering Bobby Layman. I recently had work done on my aging Chevy at another dealer; then the car broke down again. Layman was the Don't bother considering Bobby Layman. I recently had work done on my aging Chevy at another dealer; then the car broke down again. Layman was the closest dealer, so I wound up there. Next time I'll pay hefty towing charges to stay away from them. They charge close to triple retail price on parts, and I'm pretty sure the repair they did didn't solve the real problem. The car runs, but it still doesn't respond right. Matt was friendly in person but didn't return phone calls. I had to track him down to get the estimate. Virgil was completely rude. Go to Layman's only if you have money to burn. More
I purchaced a new vehicle from them and have had to take it back at least twice each time work needed completed to have the repair completed. I have been told warranty does not cover this on many occations, it back at least twice each time work needed completed to have the repair completed. I have been told warranty does not cover this on many occations, the last was just yesturday, I then went to another Columbus Metro dealer who said that my problem was common and they would have it repaired ASAP. Bobby Layman was trying to charge me almost $400! Do not purchace your vehicle there unless you plan to have it serviced eslwhere! More
