Had a great experience with Marina Del Rey Toyota. I usually have my Sequoia serviced at a local mechanic's shop, but called Marina Del Rey for some recall work. They actually sent someone to my office usually have my Sequoia serviced at a local mechanic's shop, but called Marina Del Rey for some recall work. They actually sent someone to my office to pick up my car for service and returned the car washed/cleaned inside and out! Great customer service, I'll definitely buy my next vehicle from them and I will not hesitate to refer people to Marina Del Rey Toyota! Mark Koenig More
I had a very enjoyable experience at this dealership. I went in looking for a tundra truck and got exceptional service. I even got a lower payment then I was looking for. The Salesman Richard Garcia was extremely helpful and not pushy at all, like some salesmen can be. He introduced me to the finance director Larry Davis who was very nice and helped me get a lower payment. I would definitely reccomend this dealership to anyone who wants an enjoyable experience without being pressured. More

Probably one of my worst experience so far. Stopped in on Monday night, interested in a 2011 Sienna LE. After a bit of back and forth on the numbers we agreed on the the deal. Body color I liked was not avai Monday night, interested in a 2011 Sienna LE. After a bit of back and forth on the numbers we agreed on the the deal. Body color I liked was not available, however told me they will have it in by tomorrow pm. Got a call in the morning that car is here, got the VIN for insurance. Stopped in at 5pm, sales guy told me there is a small problem. They got me the car in the color I wanted but with a couple of addtl options I didn't care (cross bars, towing prep etc). Overall they wanted me to pay 15$ plus tax more a month (total 500$) for a MRSP of $600. I refused and I told them that I am not willing to pay a) more because of they screwed up and b)definitely not for options I have no use for. The sales guy (Chad) was really helpful and tried to work out the issues, but the general sales manager (Kamal) walked up, no intro nothing and said either I pay more or I can forget the car. I stayed pretty calm and said lets find a solution, they should take off the crossbars and we share invoice on the towing prep etc, but he said he wouldnt do at it he would loose on the deal. I said if this is his last offer and he could even more emotional and said that I should just take it or leave....I replied that I will report this to Corporate Toyota and BBB etc thats when he totally freaked out. He told me that I should pay or leave, that Toyota doesnt care about my story as they won't believe me but him and top it, that he sells 1200 cars a year and doesnt need my business. Then he just stood up and left. Obviously Chad and his manager Tom were pretty embarrassed and tried to de-escalate the situation but Kamal would refuse to come back and talk. Obviously as you can imagine I left the dealership pretty annoyed... After a couple of hours I wrote the same as above to the GM Kevin Gray. As of time of writing this I am still waiting for either a call back or response by email.. I would be surprised if I will ever get one Meanwhile I got the car I wanted for the exact same price at Longo Toyota. My advice stay away from Marina del Rey Toyota.... More
I stopped in disappointed from another dealership that had sold a simular vehicle from under me I wanted. They pushed, wore me down and would not take no for an answer having their worker drive the vehicle to me residence while I drove my fairly new pick-up truck home. They lied telling that I could finance it through my credit union, but need to sign their papers first. They then telephoned me saying their was an overpayment of $4,500. which they mailed to me. I found that my credit union had not financed it yet, insisted that they take the check back and wait on more papers I need to submit to my credit union. I gave them a $3,000. deposit on the vehicle. The Maintanence required light kept coming on and I had moved 3 hours away. I took their vehicle back and now they will not give me my $3,000 back and continue insisting that I come back in town to pick the vehicle back up. They never listened to me at all, but always continued with their own agenda. More
My Ford Taurus happened to break down in front of the dealership (not that amazing considering how unreliable this car was), so I went in and picked out a Tacoma. With what I still owed on the Taurus I'd dealership (not that amazing considering how unreliable this car was), so I went in and picked out a Tacoma. With what I still owed on the Taurus I'd be upside down on the lease, but I was desperate. I took hold of the lease which had a really long term on it but I figured that I would probably buy it anyway. In any case, the dealership called me up a few years later and offered me a buyout purchase that was too good to pass up. It basically eliminated the amount the previous amount incurred by the Ford. This was awesome. I've owned the truck for over five years now and it runs great. I'd return to the dealership from time to time to have the truck serviced and though they have a typical price structure (dealership service departments are way over priced), I'd still recommend them. They were pleasant and helpful. More
This is one of the worst dealership you will ever visit. I got the price from internet after emailing back and forth. out of 7 dealers they were 5th best in pricing, still only they had the color I wanted, I got the price from internet after emailing back and forth. out of 7 dealers they were 5th best in pricing, still only they had the color I wanted, so I visited them anyway. The guy(kamal) was shouting at me saying , no I do not even want to talk about the price. This is fixed price and the black color you so badly want will only be available after adding full MSRP difference. He was not even ready to listen to me. Basically his attitude was that he was was doing me a favor by selling his car at ridiculous prices. I bought another color with upgraded nav etc added at lower price than his basic model pricing. for your own , please avoid at all costs More
Avoid at all costs. The sales dept looks more like Avoid at all costs. The sales dept looks more like the back office of a typical service area. It's filthy, small, and uninviting. The desk draw Avoid at all costs. The sales dept looks more like the back office of a typical service area. It's filthy, small, and uninviting. The desk drawers were broken and held together by rope. (I'm serious) I almost laughed when the salesman started making calculations by pen and paper-- that's right folks, no fancy computers at this dealership. Cosmetic issues aside, the people who work here are terrible. The salesman I spoke with (Ryan) wasn't particularly offensive, but he constantly badgered me to purchase a car that I did not want. Very high pressure, very hardsell. He also used every car salesman cliche in the book. ("I want to save YOU money! We have to act on this NOW! Let's get you in this car TODAY!") The pricing was also laughable. Still, he wasn't a bad guy. Just not very good. His bosses were another story entirely. One guy (Eric) just gave me an unfriendly stare, no hello, no nothing. Not even a smile. The manager (Brian) actually greeted me, but oozed that slimy car salesman vibe. ("Let's make a deal, show us good faith, we know how to help you," etc.) His empty promises aside, it was obvious that they couldn't care less about my interests. They just wanted the money. Overall, they were extremely unhelpful, bordering on contemptuous. The last thing I expect from a salesman is attitude. Maybe at BMW of beverly hills, but at toyota? All in all, this was honestly the worst car dealership that I've ever been to. I was not even remotely comfortable about making such a large purchase with these people. If you're looking for a toyota dealership in the LA area, try santa monica or north hollywood. I found them to be FAR more helpful, with much less xx. The fact that their offices don't resemble a dump is a plus as well. More
