On 3/17/11, I purchased a new 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi pick up truck. Jeff LaMartina, Roland Tabacco, and Jason Ivy all were very friendly and worked hard to give me the best trade-in value toward my new pick up truck. Jeff LaMartina, Roland Tabacco, and Jason Ivy all were very friendly and worked hard to give me the best trade-in value toward my new truck and provide me with the best financing option. They processed my credit and all the paperwork. From the time I came into the dealership and the time I drove away in my new truck, total elapsed time was 3 1/2 hours. Jeff introduced me to the service department and scheduled my next visit for a wash and wax and installation of mud flaps, and reserved me a loaner car for the day. On 4/1/11, I came in at 7a.m. for the wash and wax, etc., borrowed their loaner car, and was called at noon to tell me that my truck was ready for pick-up. I haven't bought a new vehicle in over nine years. This was the best experience I could have working with the staff at Marina Dodge. Thank you Marina Dodge. I look forward to many years of excellent service from Marina Dodge, doing maintenance on my vehicle. More
Jim Pullara and Tom Rosati are AWESOME! I was having a hard time finding a particular 2010 used Dodge Caravan and Marina was the only dealership (and I went to many) that helped us find exactly what we we hard time finding a particular 2010 used Dodge Caravan and Marina was the only dealership (and I went to many) that helped us find exactly what we were looking for...in less than 2 weeks too! Jim was a very nice and easy to get a long with salesman...he definitely wanted to make sure that we were happy with our purchase, as did Tom. Marina's VIP program is the best in the industry...we will be for sure taking our new to us minivan in for the free oil changes and NYS inspections. And we will definitely come back to Marina the next time we need to purchase a Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep! More
Shane was very helpful and knowlegeable. He asked us what options were important to us and then found them in that confusing wording of the manufacturers "packages". We were able to get exactly the car what options were important to us and then found them in that confusing wording of the manufacturers "packages". We were able to get exactly the car we wanted at a good price. Everyone we met at the dealership was friendly and tried to be helpful in any way they could. When it came time to do the paperwork Marlena was great at finishing the sale. More

Both my sales rep, Jim Pullara and the dealership owner, John Gabrieli went above and beyond to meet my car buying needs and to please me. I usually dread the new car buying experience, and have dealt with John Gabrieli went above and beyond to meet my car buying needs and to please me. I usually dread the new car buying experience, and have dealt with unscrupulous dealers in the past, but that certainly was not the case here. This was by far, the most pleasant dealership experience that I have had to date. I asked to have the "RT" stripes changed to a different color on the Challenger that I was purchasing. My request was completed quickly and without fuss. The work was flawless, and while watching the work being performed, I couldn't help but notice how clean the service area is and how friendly the employees are. Everything that I saw and experienced indicates that Marina Dodge is an extremely well run and professionally operated dealership. More
About two weeks ago my husband and I went to purchase a vehicle, brand new. We took the savings we had $3000.00 and used it as a down payment. My husband had seen an ad from Marina Mitsubishi that seemed vehicle, brand new. We took the savings we had $3000.00 and used it as a down payment. My husband had seen an ad from Marina Mitsubishi that seemed appealing to us. We went and met with the sales person and we specifically asked for four features: standard, four doors, four cylinders, and AC. My husband wrote the features down for the sales person. The sales person wrote the features in his folder as well… the folder has since then disappeared….. Of course, it had to meet the price we could afford…. We were surprised that they were able to meet our needs (supposedly). One of the assistant managers told us that, “that would be no problem” and then said he could get one in a couple of days. My husband once again emphasized the need to have an AC… in the new vehicle… and Roland Tobacco replied “that would be no problem” Again, we were awestruck at such wonderful service (we thought)… We did get a sapphire gray one that was very beautiful. My husband drove it home and we were happy with the deal…. But then he tested the AC…. What a surprise!! It had no AC. We brought it back because it did not meet our expectation… we had specifically asked for an AC in the car… The assistant manager – Mr. Tobacco, gave us three options: 1) go ½ and ½ with the AC ~$800.00 more, 2) trade (upgrade) it for another more modern one that would have an AC, 3) and re-do payment with AC being fixed and added to our new bill. We decided to go with the second option, even though it meant paying more on our behalf. We just wanted to be able to be done with this deal and move on….. After the deal was done, the assistant manager told us to pick up the new vehicle on Tuesday because it had to be brought from New York City from one of his contacts. Tuesday came, and we were not able to go pick up the vehicle because “there was a lot of snow in New York City and the driver was not able to bring it…” so we were told….. At this, I became suspicious. My husband called the dealership in NYC to see what the weather was like… “Not a problem, no snow” the individual who answer the called told my husband. More suspicion on my behalf… then we were told to pick it up on Wednesday…. Wednesday turned to Friday…. The seller called my husband to pick it up on Friday before 3pm. We were both at work so it would have to be after work… we had already missed some work time to get this deal closed…. finished… done… Then we received yet another phone call… it was the car dealer again… and told us “not to come because the new vehicle had a scratch that needed fixing and would not be ready until Monday” My husband told me late Friday about “the scratch”. By now you can guess the smoke coming out of my ears looked pretty ugly…. A scratch does not take that long… how competent are these men? What had we done? Had we made the right decision? Many questions troubled my mind, and doubt began to fill my inner most being…. I waited until Saturday morning to call and for the place to open up …. Of course, in my coolest tone of voice I let them know… “We do not want this vehicle… I don’t think I can trust you anymore, I have some concerns about it as well as their ethics of how things had been handled.” One of the owners told me that he would be able to get the bumper fix which was actually cracked by Tuesday…. (Notice – not a scratch, cracked…) Fired escaped my head – I was furious …. How can he have the audacity to tell me it would be ready by Tuesday…. NO WAY…. I said…. “ I want my money back, and nothing to do with them…” He then told me that the loaner they had given us would be considered taken from them if we did not return it… I told him we would bring it that evening when my husband would be home… We took the car(loaner) back to the dealership, and met with the financial advisor and one of the owners… they wanted nothing to do with what we had to say… but told us we had no choice in the matter and we had to take the new car now…. We did not take the new car…. But told them that on Monday the District Attorney would be notified and so would my lawyer…. We wanted our money back…. The one owner told us that we had to have the new vehicle out of his lot, or he would tow it at our expense…. We are asking for your help in sharing this kind of corruption that affects the sales of cars, but also the poor consumers who get fooled like we did… We also wanted to know how legal it is to break the contract with them… they keep playing with the time of when the car will be ready…. Of course when we went tonight – Saturday, the car was ready for us to take home… they placed a new bumper from another car…. Why so sudden… I thought he said not till Tuesday….. How convenient…. Nonetheless, we still did not take the car… we want nothing to do with corruptive business…. More
Very bad experance tring to buy a new car, sales run around, went back 3 times no one seemed to know what they were doing. Spent at least 3 hours there for nothing. Sales had to keep going back to the around, went back 3 times no one seemed to know what they were doing. Spent at least 3 hours there for nothing. Sales had to keep going back to the "manager", xxx. Could not seem to get correct information on the Caliber I was going to order. I ended up going to another dealer. This place sucks. More
Absolutely horrible experience! Went in looking for trade in, new car buy. originally was exploring the Dodge Avenger. I have had some credit issues in the past, but have vastly improved credit. Told me they in, new car buy. originally was exploring the Dodge Avenger. I have had some credit issues in the past, but have vastly improved credit. Told me they could not finance me at the $20,000 mark, but miraculously got me financed for a $28,000 vehicle on the LAST DAY OF THE QUARTER and Month in a vehicle that they needed to reach a quota in. Financing Payments were $120.00 over budget and $1,000 over my budget for down payment. Was told multiple lies by my salesman, Renard, just to get me back in the building. These guys are the kings of "Bait and Switch," and I am now filing BBB and Attorney General Compliants as we speak!Poor customer service, was there 14 hours, and had the terms of my loan, and the cars they wanted me to buy, switched 3 times. Careful - when they say "All internet prices include a $2,000 Cash or trade down" they mean that a cash deal will cost you $2000 more than their advertised price. Since that's the price they pass on to o $2,000 Cash or trade down" they mean that a cash deal will cost you $2000 more than their advertised price. Since that's the price they pass on to others (e.g. cars.com) where the disclaimer won't appear you may be unpleasantly surprised. Also watch out for things changing when the salesperson suddenly passes you off to the sales manager. Sad - this was a very sharp and straightforward dealership when I dealt with them in 2002. No longer. More
This dealership is the most sneaky, underhanded one I've ever dealt with. We signed papers only to be told that the deal won't work (after being told it was fine) and then the price increased. We've been ever dealt with. We signed papers only to be told that the deal won't work (after being told it was fine) and then the price increased. We've been back 4 nights in a row and each time were there for 1-2 hours! Each time we left being told we had to come back again and were assured that the paperwork would all be in order the following night. I've never been told so many lies in my life. There is no way I will ever, ever go to this dealership again and I will make sure to let everyone I know how badly we've been treated there. This dealership is the one that people joke about - you know the old car salesman high pressure jokes. If you want the worst experience of your life just go to Marina Dodge. Otherwise, STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! More
