We recently needed to purchase a car and after some research on the vehicle we had decided on found it online at Marina Auto Group at 765 Ridge Road in Webster, NY. We were totally unfamiliar with the dealership being that it is 2 ½ hours away from where we live. We called them to enquire on the car and spoke with a salesman named Russ. We drove out the next morning to look over the car, test drive it and IF we felt it was worth it, we hoped to drive it home that same day. In order to do that, we went prepared: we brought our plates from the previous car, knowing I could have our insurance agent fax the insurance card, have our bank wire the funds and with hopes that the dealership could have it registered for us within a couple of hours. The 2020 Chevrolet Impala Premier that we had chosen was in really clean shape inside and out and came with a 90 day/3K mile warranty, which helped ease any concerns that IF there were any pressing issues with purchasing a used car, we hoped it would show itself during the limited warranty. We arrived that morning about 10 a.m., test drove, decided on the vehicle while waiting for the wire transfer to get cleared, we went out to lunch, went back, did the paperwork, they finalized the vehicle and we were on our way home later that afternoon with our new vehicle. Our Salesman Russ tried to be as efficient as he could in meeting our needs and was very thorough in explaining all the details of the paperwork and sale to us. About a week later, we ended up having a couple of issues with the vehicle and that’s when the real test of this dealership came into play. One can’t help be a bit hesitant to be purchasing the car in unfamiliar territory from an unknown dealership, yet alone hope that their warranty will really be covered on a used vehicle. After a phone call to Russ, he told us Marina Auto Group would allow us to take the car into a local Chevrolet dealer of our choosing so as not to have to make the long drive back out there…even the local Chevrolet dealer’s service manager was a bit hesitant on the arrangement, but Marina Auto Group Service manager, Ron, worked with their General Manger, Anthony, and came through and took care of the bill with the local Chevrolet Dealer, so we could be on our way. To top it off we had a repair that the Chevrolet dealer couldn’t provide that we need to go to Safelite for a rear window replacement because the auto rear window defogger wasn’t working. The Auto Outlet Staff (www.marinaautogroup.com): General Manger for Marina Auto Group, Anthony, came through each time we needed to speak with him. He didn’t seem like the stereotype nor sound like a typical car salesman at all and I have to tell you IF we ever needed to purchase another vehicle or know of someone who did we would HIGHLY recommend the Marina Auto Group on 765 Ridge Road in Webster, NY. These guys are the real deal!!! More
Worst car buying experience of my lifetime. Drove car for 11 days. Love the car. First rainstorm...wipers left windshield scratches at eye level on drivers side. After much back and forth...I was told that it was their opinion that the scratches were there all along and I just never saw them. Mike my salesperson knows this is not true. We had spent alot of time going over the car. So they really expect me to accept their conclusion that I just didn't notice these scratches right at eye level for 11 days. It's beyond insulting. They tried to get some of the scratches out...it didn't work great. They changed the wipers. I went to several windshield specialists that all said that they won't even try to remove scratches from wipers...and that all it takes is one or two passes of a worn or poorly installed blade will leave a scratch. The salesperson who sold me the car told me that oil change, fluid checks, wipers, tires , brakes were all thoroughly inspected. He said the wiper blades had been replaced...so they either didn't do that...or did it wrong. So the only correction is windshield replacement which on a BMW is approx. $1200 -$1500. They absolutely refuse at this point to discuss. More to follow. I love the car. The dealership is the worst. More

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Marina Auto Group has absolutely NO INTEGRITY! I called & told them I wanted to purchase one of the pre owned vehicles they had in stock 100% cash, however seei Group has absolutely NO INTEGRITY! I called & told them I wanted to purchase one of the pre owned vehicles they had in stock 100% cash, however seeing that I live over 1 hour away I wanted to leave a deposit to make sure that the vehicle would be there when I arrived. I was told “We don’t take deposits over the phone, but Don’t worry it will be here waiting for you”, so my wife & I left to make the over 1 hour drive... Only to find out upon arriving that while I was driving there that they took a deposit from someone in California & the vehicle is no longer available!!! They wasted my time & money, & this is the most dishonest dealer I shave ever seen! NO INTEGRITY!!!!! More

It would have costed us another 5K to pain the car. The dealer on the phone never mentioned the scratches on the cat. When we asked him why he didn't say anything his answer was " You saw the pictures". My bad that I don't have X-Ray vision to notice the damages on the car from the pictures. I called the office the next week or so to let them know of this issue, the manager did not have the xxxxx to call me back or simply didn't care. then I called again 2 months after and they finally called back. #Dishoneststaff, #unethical, #MarinaAutoOutlet, #rude, #don'tdobusinesswiththem .
