We have bought five vehicles from MANDAL dealerships. Three from GMC and two from BMW. The service departments between the two are night and day. BMW takes care of everything we ask of them and more. I have brought my Denali in for a specific break noise in the past and was told everything was fine some just make noise. This has probably been a year ago that it was brought up. I addressed the noise again with the service I just came in for and was told my inside brake pad was completely gone!! So I asked if brakes are not checked when they come in for service because it should’ve been notice with all the services in between. I was told they only check if they’re really bad or told to? Tire tread depth brake pads tire pressure along with all fluids have always been a priority at all dealerships I’ve dealt with along with testing the battery. I was then told by another service advisor that my vehicle is known for the calipers sticking which I’m sure why the inside brake pad was wore down and not the rest of the brakes. I was told that my extended warranty just expired and that there’s nothing that could be done for the sticking caliper. Keep in mind I brought the vehicle in and asked for the same exact brake caliper to be looked at and no notes were added to the account and the issue was never addressed nor resolved. Now that my warranty has expired now I’m being told that it’s a sticky caliper and won’t be cover by warranty. More

I had a 7:00 a. m. appointment for oil change and tire rotation. They finished around 9:00 a.m.. No communication from service department during this 2 hour period m. appointment for oil change and tire rotation. They finished around 9:00 a.m.. No communication from service department during this 2 hour period. When the work was complete, I asked why it took so long and was told 2 people called in sick. I understand this happens and it is not within your control, however, at a minimum, I think you should communicate with your patrons and let them know the situation. That way, they can decide if they want to wait or come back another time. More
