I have changed my own oil and filter most of my adult life primarily based on horror stories I had heard from other people. On 9/24/2020 we were visiting family in the Houston area and I decided to have our oil changed on my wife’s 2017 Suburban at Mac Haik Chevrolet. Fast forward to today 3/26/21 and it needed changed again. I decided since I had some new oil left over from the last time I changed it to do it myself one more time. It took a 1/2 drive ratchet and cheater pipe to get the plug out of the oil pan (I can’t believe they didn’t strip the threads). Then when I tried to remove the oil filter with an oil filter wrench I couldn’t budge it. I had to take the largest screw driver I own and drive it through the filter 3 times to get it off ( can’t believe it wasn’t stripped either). So thanks Mac Haik for giving me the reason to go back to changing my own oil at 68 years of age! I wouldn’t let them work on one of my vehicles again if it was free! More

bought a 2020 traverse here 02/22/2020 have had so many issues with the radio, the tires,the door squeaking. took back several several times still the stuff is not fixed.
