This was the absolute worst car buying experience ever, from the salesman, sales manager and the finance manager they are con artists with no integrity or honesty whatsoever. bought a 2020 traverse here 02/22/2020 have had so many issues with the radio, the tires,the door squeaking. took back several several times still the stuff is not fixed. Spoke to Brian and Josh , have had 4 alignments in 1 yr, front end still not correct , took to another shop for 2nd opinion have print out from them sent to mac haik and this is the response from the gm We will no longer service your vehicle at our dealership, you can explore a new dealership to service with so that you may find a place that you feel is honest in their dealings with you. I did not have a good experience with Mac Haik Chevrolet. The salesman, Javier did not go over the vehicle with me like most salesmen have in the past. I did not even realize the 2020 Trax model that I bough The salesman, Javier did not go over the vehicle with me like most salesmen have in the past. I did not even realize the 2020 Trax model that I bought did not come with cruise control. He does not return phone calls The finance guy, Scott set me up with GM Financial. Then 2 weeks later when I contact GM they have no record of my vehicle being financed. After calling Scott for 2 days with no return calls, I go in person and he tells me got a better deal with another finance company. Mind you, nothing changed for me. Not the interest rate or payment date or payment amount. So that tells me HE got a better kickback. The ONLY person who ever returned my phone call was the lady who handles the license plates. I will not buy from Mac Haik Chevrolet again. My daughter bought from them also and then referred me and a friend and never received her referral fees. More

I have purchased many cars during the last 30+ years and I can easily say, my Mac Haik buying experience was the absolute worst. Giving them a one-star rating is being too generous. I purchased a 2019 Corvette from Mac Haik Houston at the beginning of August 2020. Once I was comfortable with the terms I agreed to the transaction. As soon as they were paid the problems started and continued to accelerate over the next four months. When I received the required paperwork, Mac Haik had included unnecessary registration paperwork for signatures. I then found that the filing cost for this form was one of the “dealer add-ons” included in the contract. This is when the Mac Haik Finger Pointing and obfuscations started. I was told that an immediate refund would be issued, and I would receive it in a matter of a few days. Over three weeks had passed when I finally received the refund. But this was not due to their willingness to follow through with their promises, it came after repeated calls on my part. They never called me with updates…but why should they? They already have been paid. Being an out of state buyer we discussed the shipping of the car to Pennsylvania. Prior to the sale, I was assured that they were well versed in such matters. I trusted them in that that they will take care of the shipping and it could be completed within a week. Taking them at their word was my first mistake. During the next three weeks I endured every excuse imaginable about the status of the delivery. The Mac Haik Finger Pointing was used once again and it all seemed directed at the carrier, or the weather, or whatever their excuse du jour was. After nearly a month had passed, late one afternoon I finally took delivery of the car that had been promised “within a week” of my purchase. I found it odd that when I talked with the carrier at the delivery point, he stated that he had picked up the car at the dealership the morning of the previous day. At the delivery, I was given only one key fob. Who ever heard of a dealership providing only one key fob for a $50,000+ car? I sure you have already guessed, I had to endure the Mac Haik Finger Pointing routine once again in my effort to solve their mistake. Dealerships are generally well versed in title registration procedures and, in fact, I paid Mac Haik a separate fee as part of their contract to do just that. Would you be surprised to learn that it took Mac Haik nearly four months to provide me with the tag and title to my Corvette? This did not happen because of any diligence or expertise on their part. My persistence played a large part I the process and was not without a fresh round of Mac Haik Finger Pointing. What I found most unsettling my attempt is that in early October the Mac Haik used car manager told he had paid extra to my state MVA to expedite the tags and was “guaranteed” to have the items “within ten days.” Pennsylvania has no such process or fee. The tag and title did not arrive in 10 days but two months after this promise was made to me. The PA MVA mailed the title to me at my address, but the tag at Mac Haik’s request was mailed to the dealership in Houston. I have no clue why they would have that done. One would think that sometime during this sorted process I would have been given an apology. I never received any form of apology from any of the many different Mac Haik personnel I spoke with in my efforts to correct their problems; it seems that they were too busy pointing fingers. To me that says a lot about their character and the lack of empathy for their customers. Unless you have a high threshold of toleration of lies, broken promises, and Mac Haik Finger Pointing as well as having a lot of time to solve problems of their doing, I strongly recommend that avoid Mac Haik for your next purchase. More
