MAG MINI of Dublin

Always something I can guarantee they will find something if there is nothing. I took my mini to alignment shop. They aligned it 3 times and it would not hold .They su I can guarantee they will find something if there is nothing. I took my mini to alignment shop. They aligned it 3 times and it would not hold .They suggested taking it to the Mini dealer. The dealer comes back with almost $4000 worth of repairs. The windows have worked fine for 3 years and when it is in their shop magically they won't go up after they have been all over the car and want $900 to fix that problem. No one at mini will admit the control arms are soft and manufacturing should use different control arms. They want me to replace them with their control arms for $1100 on the rear and $1000 on the front. This is the biggest SHAM of a repair shop. They will nickel and dime you right out the door. I wish I would have never purchased the car because it is a maintenance PIG. I have spent more than its worth to drive and MAG is unsympathetic to your plight. You are an ATM for the repair department with this British Lemon. This isn't my first experience with the dealership because the car spent its first 6 months of ownership in their possession off and on due to variety of gremlins in the system. After the warranty was up LOOK OUT. Nothing is their problem and it is always something new. They wanted to charge me $300 for software upgrade. When I got to checking, the software upgrade had been out for quiet sometime they missed it in one of their many reviews of the car then wanted to stick it to me when it came in the last service call. I drew the line did some research and found it had been 6 months since the software upgrade was issued and they were just now getting to it and wanted me to pay for it. They claimed it would fix all my problems. NOT! If you have another choice in vehicle buying- go Honda. If you want something fun to drive but a xxxxx to maintain buy a MINI. If you like to spend money with a mechanic just take it to MAG they will drain you like a vampire. More

I have purchased FIVE Volkswagens from MAG since 1996 and have been very happy with each of them. The dealership is very clean, and impressive. Even though the cars that I purchase (VW) are among the lowes have been very happy with each of them. The dealership is very clean, and impressive. Even though the cars that I purchase (VW) are among the lowest cost autos that they sell, I feel that I am always treated the same as a customer who is purchasing a far more expensive vehicle. Also, the service department goes out of the way to be sure that I can get my car serviced on my schedule and my convenience. I live about 60 miles from the dealership, so they are always sure to offer me a loaner car or use the drop off service. I am waiting now for my salesman, John Barna to find me my next Beetle Convertible. I am looking for a new color and I want the diesel model and standard transmission. I know he'll do the best he can. I would strongly recommend MAG for anyone wanting to purchase a car from a high quality dealership with excellent service. More
