Purchased a certified pre-owned mini 1 year ago. Spent $7000 for the extended warranty. The vehicle had 2 spots where the chrome was bubbling off and the usb port has a short in it- works sometimes and sometimes doesn't (fire hazard?). I took it in shortly after purchase and MAG fixed one chrome piece but I'm guessing didn't see the other. They also told me there was nothing wrong with the usb ports and to try another cable. I have since tried the phones original cable, high quality, store brands, and multiple cheap ones. They all work sometimes but mostly don't (and work in every usb port in the car except the one in question). A few months later, after having to schedule two weeks out just to look at it, I took it back in this week and after making me take an electric loaner (which has a charger that charges like 20 miles while plugged in for 15 hours, so reeealllly slow) they said they would call and let me know next steps. I had to call back on the third day because I never heard from them. They were ironically just pulling it into the bay when I called. Perfect timing, eh? Thirty minutes later they called to tell me there was in fact a problem with it and now the warranty no longer covers the chrome nor the usb port wiring. It’s a little odd that when the factory warranty was still in effect, they couldn’t find anything wrong with the port and they ‘missed’ the second chrome defect- and then a few months after the warranty had expired (and it’s under their extended warranty) they miraculously find the issue immediately after looking at it, but unfortunately it’s no longer covered so they want $1300… When I mention this, I just get a blanket "I can see how that would be frustrating" response. I tried to talk to the finance manager to cancel the warranty for the prorate refund (learned my lesson to never buy an extended warranty since they apparently don't cover hazards like wiring issues), but he's 'busy' and will call me 'after he finishes with his 2 deals'. Never called back. Updates: Called 4 hours later and they put me to his voicemail. So I left a message reminding him to call as promised. After no return call from the message, I called again and he had left for the day... Called again next day, this time I get sent to voicemail of someone who is on vacation till next week sometime Called back and someone said they would start the process because they couldn't get finance director to answer the phone, but assured me they would call back shortly. They never did Called back 4 hours later, they put me on hold and then hung up after 5 minutes on hold. Called back and talk to someone who assured me they will call by the end of the day (at least the people answering the phone initially are nice). We’ll see. However, they close in an hour, so not looking good. — Surprise didn’t call Called back right before closing and they said they would get him on the phone, but sent me to his voicemail. Called back and let them know I’m not leaving yet another message with another broken promise to call back and want to talk to anyone in their half dozen dealerships who can cancel this- someone finally got him on the phone to connect us. It really shouldn’t be this hard, if I was spending money they would call/text every 2 hours until I block them. As a side note - they take 8 weeks to process a cancellation. Have fun if you decide to purchase from MAG =) More

When they present you the “numbers” though they silently add on $999 under the guise of some xx fabric or paint protector that they spray on all their cars. Can’t take it off because they’ve already applied it. It’s garbage and it’s a sneaky way of jacking up the price. Especially since they don’t disclose it until it’s time to buy. They are the stereotypical car dealership. Buyer beware. More

We purchased a 2022 Mini Cooper S here last week and the day after decided we wanted to cancel the wheel and tire insurance. We tried calling the finance manager several times, sometimes multiple times a day, leaving a voicemail every time, but he never got back to us. I even called Dan Long, the sales representative who sold us the car and asked him to leave him a message in his office and have him call us, to no avail. He wasn’t on vacation or out of office, so we’re obviously being given the runaround. It’s a significant amount of money, so we’re not going to take no for an answer. As of this review, it’s been one week of trying to call them daily with nobody returning our calls. The sales representative Dan Long was a pleasure to work with though. Professional, efficient, and friendly. He also went above and beyond by coming to work on his day off because it was the only day we were available to come in to make the purchase. It’s just disappointing that such a pleasurable experience with Dan was marred by us being ghosted when it came time for after-sales support. More

This place is a joke. We USED to take our 2011 Mini Cooper S for service here, and we'll never do that again. The first time we took it in, we got it back and it was making a terrible noise from the f Cooper S for service here, and we'll never do that again. The first time we took it in, we got it back and it was making a terrible noise from the front drivetrain. They told us we needed a wheel bearing. They changed the wheel bearing and noise was even worse. We took it back and had them align it. When we got it back, not only was it not aligned, but some of trim around the nose of the vehicle had been seriously damaged. We took it back, had them do the alignment that we already paid for and they had the trim they broke replaced. Fast forward to now, we took the car in for the periodic inspection. They had about 4k worth of "critical problems" they found with the car, including a few (4) oil leaks. I decided I'd have a look around and see how bad these leaks could be, and upon inspecting the engine compartment, I noticed that part of the intake was missing. I mean like gone. So we called the dealership #MAGMINIOFDUBLIN several times to get the part back and they wont even talk to us. At this point, I'm done with this place. I paid them $400 to inspect my car, and all they did was give me a quote for $4k to fix "oil leaks" and keep a piece of my intake. These guys are a bunch of Mickey Mouse Morons that don't know what they're doing. Take your car to them at your own risk. If you read this and still take your car to them, I just hope the part they forget to reinstall doesn't end with you or your loved one's life. They're going to kill someone, and they won't even own up to it. Good luck and please be safe, by staying the heck away from this place. More

THE service department Manager HEATHER told me Friday VIA A TEXT MESSAGE, that they found the fuel module was malfunctioning and had to order a part. I ASK FOR A LOANER CAR SHE SAID THEY HAD NONE AVAILABLE I said ok how long will this all take? Monday at the latest.. today’s Monday, part didn’t come in go figure. So again TODAY I ask if they were going to get me a loaner, SHE AGAIN SAID THEY HAD NONE AVAILABLE.. MIND YOU THEY NEVER OFFERED ME ANY THING ELSE THAN WHAT YOU HAVE READ SO FAR.. NO APOLOGIES FOR NOT HAVING TO BE WITHOUT MY CAR I AM STILL LEASING AND PAYING FOR, NO LOANER CAR WHICH THEY USE AS A PLOY TO SELL CARS, NOTHING.. NOTHING BUT RUDENESS AND ATTITUDE WHEN I GOT UPSET AT THE FACT THEY WERE DOING NOTHING FOR ME CUSTOMER SERVICE WISE.. WELL I KNOW BETTER AND THERE IS PLENTY MORE SHE COUKD OFFER BUT JUST DIDN'T WANT To for what ever reason.. SO I CALL THE SALESMAN DAVID SEITZ WHO SOLD ME THE CAR TO BEGIN WITH. This little pip squeak starts to go off on me and I BLOW A GASKET AND LET THIS NOT EVEN WET BEHIND THE EARS YET TWINK HAVE IT! I have attempted to buy both of my mini's here, but the sales department is rather snobbish about the pricing and dealing with me. I have purchased both of my mini's out of Cleveland, with great experiences with the Dealer, but was attempting not to drive 2 hours for an oil change.. More

We found salesperson Tim Erwin to be candid, forthright and knowledgeable even though he has worked for MAG for less than a year. We did not purchase any of the extended warranty options such as window tinting and lost key replacement as we felt the packages were way overpriced but understand that's what they are required to pitch. We drove home to Michigan happy customers feeling we found the car that suits our needs at a fair price. More

I had a day full of client appointments and this unexpected warning threw a wrench in my entire schedule. I called Heather in the MAG Mini Service Department and she arranged to have me come in ASAP; while their was no loaner available at such short notice, she arranged to have the shuttle take me from Dublin back to downtown Columbus. As I arrived - feeling quite stressed - and pulled into the service area, I looked up at the overhead flat screen and there was Heather's picture with the words "Welcome Lori Overmyer." I absolutely cracked up with laughter and it completely changed my mood. Further, when I went it to drop off the keys to Heather she told me she had rearranged a few things and now had a loaner for me to use. Parts had to be ordered, and the work was done in a timely fashion - but Heather's custimer service made all the difference as far as I am concerned. She is GREAT! More
