My son Alexander bought a car with his savings, graduation and birthday money on March 31st from Lux Motors in Tacoma, 4 days later the engine blew. He put under 100 miles on the car. After having the car towed to the mechanic, he found the car had been illegally tampered with, along with a lot of other illegal and shady business practices. The car is totaled and my son is on the hook for $2500 more for a car he will never be able to drive again, it can’t be safely repaired. Alex could have lost more than his savings and his car as his car violently seized and skidded to a stop when the engine blew. Thankfully it was not in traffic or on the freeway. All photos included in the original post. Notice there are no check engine lights or other lights on. Our mechanic at Midland Automotive reported that.... "Vehicle towed in - was purchased a few days ago, customer was driving and engine seemed to seize up. Confirmed engine will not crank. Starter clicks but does not turn over. Battery voltage is good and starter functions. Attempted to turn engine manually. Crankshaft will rotate back and forth only approx. 300 degrees and stops hard. Timing chain is intact but may have jumped. Found extreme metal particulate in the oil filter element - Catastrophic internal mechanical failure. Exact nature unknown without disassembly and inspection. Scanned for codes and found many - including misfire codes, cam timing codes, oil pressure and emission codes. The evaporative emission code has been active for at least 38 miles. Check engine light has been disabled and is inoperative. Also found ABS and stabilizer codes as a result of wheel lock-up when engine stopped suddenly. Suspect likely severe transmission and drivetrain damage from sudden engine lock-up." Link below. The two guys were helping us were extremely efficient, we were in and out with our Chrysler 300 SRT 8 in less than 2 hours and they were happy to work with us to get us out the door in our price range and a payment we were able to afford. We got an Awesome car at a fair price. I would highly recommend Jose And Alex to anyone looking for a good, affordable price car. More

DONT BUY DONT DONT ONLY READ THE GOOD REVIEW I bought my truck 2 weeks ago and guess what check engine light came on oww but it gets better after that my car started smoking from under the engine I bought my truck 2 weeks ago and guess what check engine light came on oww but it gets better after that my car started smoking from under the engine found out that it was the valve cover gasket leak that was getting on the manifold and could catch the engine on fire (repair is over 1000 by local mechanic and in dealer over 2k )but crazy part is when I bought the truck I looked under engine and it was very clean I guess a little pressure wash could hid that for a couple of days and employees Jose and max very rude and Jose kept telling me and I quote " i dont care if i sell this car. I get paid by salary i could careless" yes made me feel good and didn't even get helped I had to go in and ask and he kept showing me a truck that was cheaper and had problems guess I looked to poor to afford a nice truck ahah but to summarize everthing I'm debt with a truck that I cant even drive until I get 2k to fix just imagine and credit dropped after the hard inquiry and yea It wasn't worth it hurt the bottom of my soul seeing all the problems aye but that's my problem go figure More

Don't buy from this dealership My son purchased a 2009 Ford F350 from this dealership for what we later learned was a very inflated price. Three days later the vehicle wouldn't start and had to be towed to the closest Ford dealership at our son's expense. That dealership has had the vehicle since that time, trying to find the problem(s). The mechanic is very knowledgeable and has indicated that Lux Motors had to know the vehicle was defective from the onset and the estimate to repair it is now $20,000.00, which Lux Motors says is not their responsibility. Lux Motors also sold my son an extended warranty, which turned out to be like none the dealership in Wenatchee had ever seen. It had a $3,000.00 cap, which has already been exceeded with the few repairs done. Lux Motors took advantage of my son by selling him a vehicle they knew was no good and then not taking responsibility for what they knowingly did. More

My experience here was amazing; from entering the dealership's parking space to driving off with an incredible 2013 Nissan Maxima. The sale guy Jose , that gave my family and I a great first impression, would defiantly (with no doubt) recommend to everyone . The financing process was quick, Jose was extremely helpful and patient. Answered every question and concern I had with a smile. He understood just what I wanted and negotiated in accordance to my budget, which was great. Along the way I also met the manager Max, who explained everything with detail. An extremely professional and trustworthy person. Overall a great experience, thank you lux motors and team for making my first car a possibility! More
