Very pleased with the integrity of the people servicing my car! After making an appointment with them due to a check engine light, my husband dropped off the car. Initially the serviceman said it would cost a little over $100 to test for what was causing the light to go on and, of course, whatever else it cost to repair. Well - the car was ready very soon thereafter with the only charge was the oil change! Apparently they identified the light was triggered by inappropriate pressure in the tank which would point to a severe gas leak (scary). However, they figured out it was just that I had not put the gas cap on precisely right (yay me!). I am so thankful they did not charge me $100+ to be told I was an idiot! I will always take my car here from now on; I completely trust they will do the right thing! More
Once again the sevice was awesome! I brought my Beetle in for the 10,000 mile maintenancde check. The tires were rotated, tire pressure checked, oil changed and the airconditioner was reset due to a pres in for the 10,000 mile maintenancde check. Today (15 July 2013) is the 5th time I've been to Luther Burnsville VW for service. (I go every 10K miles and I have 50K miles on my 2011 Jetta TDI). I get excellent service every time. When I arrive, I am promptly greeted by a knowledgeable person who outlines what needs to be done plus listens to any concern I might have. Then I go to the waiting area which is clean, bright and has current magazines, newspapers and snacks including cold bottled water. After a while, a service representative advises the work progress and when the work is complete, he/she explains what has been done and advises what to expect on the the next 10K mile service. When I get into the car again, I see that it has been vacuumed and washed. I am confident that the work has been done correctly. I have not had a single problem with the car. More

I purchased my vehicle last year, a 2012 Passat. The sales person was great. I had the scheduled maintenance and two warranty visits for DRLs that stopped working and a back speaker that kept blowing. T sales person was great. My only complaint was that it took me months to get my owners manual. I just recently had a front end impact on the vehicle. They showed me how it caused the pulley to burn into the wheel liner and wiper fluid reservoir a bit-just a bit. This caused my serpentine belt, which should be tight and secure between the grooves on the pulley, to jump off and shred through at least two ribs. I'm not disputing that the pulley hit the wheel liner, although I think that is a bit ridiculous for a minor impact; after all, they showed me where the marks were. My dispute was with the fact that the belt jumped the pulley. That shouldn't happen. They couldn't explain to me why it happened, just that it did. The funny thing is, the wheel liner was back where it should be, and no one fixed that, so how, if it were a very short, glancing contact situation that caused a less than one inch scrape mark, did the belt get shredded so badly? The laws of physics don't fit here. The belt should not have jumped the pulley in the first place, and it should certainly have not been so shredded that half of it was nearly gone if the liner flexed back into place immediately as they are alleging. They offered no resolution because that $200 would come out of their pocket. They didn't even try to submit as a warranty repair to VW, partially, I believe, because they don't get paid all the mark up and labor. It's not a dollar for dollar reimbursement. Shannon said he would like to keep me as a customer and would hate to see me go. When he called me to meet with him, he said he was sure we could resolve the issue. If by resolving the issue he meant telling me to go pound sand and that everyone else was wrong and they were right, then I guess it's resolved. I got nothing, no resolution whatsoever. I'm very disappointed because I wanted to keep taking my car there, but when I don't feel something is right, I just can't go along with it. I guess it's no skin off their backs to lose me as a customer, and it's fine with me. I got better and faster service at another shop, one which told me that Burnsville VW was full of it and feeding me a line of garbage. * I see that Burnsville VW is going with the same story as their response will show. The critical issue is being ignored, which is a belt should not come off of a pulley due to a minor collision. The same old song and dance about reporting this matter to my insurance company is not flying. I'm not asking for a new bumper or fender. I'm asking for a belt that should have stayed on to be replaced. I also found out through the dealer that these belts come off when people drive on snowy roads. In my opinion, that is a sad statement about the quality of the parts being used. A serpentine belt should not come off from bumpy roads, minor collisions or anything of the sort, but Burnsville VW feels differently. I'm disappointed in their response, or lack thereof, especially because my first few visits with them were great. My business will be taken to a company that listens to me, not spews the same old dreck every time I ask for a direct response to my direct question. More

The best dealership in Minnesota - period. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you not only walk out with the best deal but are happy with the deal you've made. Grant and Jeff did an amazing job putting a deal together and we were done in under 2 hours! The Parts and Service department is second to none. Ugur, Sandie, and Jeremy go above and beyond to make sure that your needs are met. Everytime I request a loaner, they have one ready for me. The facilities are clean and everyone is so friendly.
