Bought a car 12-31-23. Wanted to bring it back on 1-1-2024 bc after reading the papers more closely I realized that JAY, the salesman, lied. He said he’d take the dock fee Wanted to bring it back on 1-1-2024 bc after reading the papers more closely I realized that JAY, the salesman, lied. He said he’d take the dock fee off, he did not. The $500 that I was supposed to get for my trade in did not reflect on the paperwork nor did Jay tell ME, the buyer, how much they were giving me for the trade in. He told my BF who wasn’t even on the car loan. On the website it says they have certain used cars at certain prices, that was a lie. They had NONE of the 139 used cars, well except for one. They also state on their website that they have a 72hr exchange policy, that’s a lie also. The GM said he was not honoring the 72hr exchange policy bc I signed the papers. However, anybody that would be there to exchange a car would have already signed the papers. To top it off….the key fob battery died on the way home AND all the tire sensors came on. If I’m spending 58k for a car, I expect it to be top notch and ready to go, but that’s not the case in lumberton. I’ve bought two cars in Robeson county now and I’ll never buy another. Should have stuck with the more honest group of people in Fayetteville and Aberdeen. Prices were also better in those locations. More

Something in the dash was not connected so it made noises. There were clips on the front mats too. They were returned when we returned it the second time to the Dealership. More
My experience at Lumberton Honda was good and bad. I bought my wife a nice CRV, that was the good part. The bad is like most car dealerships when they lie to ya. That’s the case here. When I talked to I bought my wife a nice CRV, that was the good part. The bad is like most car dealerships when they lie to ya. That’s the case here. When I talked to RYAN the internet manager she told me point blank that I would get $5000 more than Kelly blue book for my trade in. That didn’t happen so I was lied to. She told me management goes above and beyond to make customers happy. Well Ryan and Lumberton Honda failed on that promise therefore I will not drive an hour and a half ever again to come to Lumberton Honda to be misled and ripped off again. By the way word of mouth is a beautiful thing!!!! Just remember that!!!! More
Would not recommend for the budget-conscious buyer. This is only place I have purchased a vehicle where the cost of the vehicle is hidden from the customer. Sales associates try to sell by what your "needs" are. I did my homework before arriving and knew what price range I needed to stay within. My "needs" didn't have to be met as much as cost needed to be kept. Instead, they worked on getting me down to manageable monthly payments. I thought dealerships liked to boast no-haggle pricing. Well, when the price was too much for the monthly payment, my associate talked to finance dept and I looked up the price of the vehicle online. Of course it's not going to be in my monthly payment price range - it was thousands more than what I wanted to spend! Associate comes back and says "Good news - we got it down to your price point!" It was still $65 over my monthly price point. I asked to look at other vehicles in my price range, but the associate wouldn't let it be. After several trips somewhere in back, I was ready to leave, but a manager walked up and said, "I'll give you that deal." I thought maybe they would give more on our trade ins or come down on the price of the vehicle. NO! They already had another loan company on standby that would meet our price point within $15. After several hours invested in this trip, I considered the lower insurance rates and agreed with condition to clean the interior and fix a scar on the roof just above the windshield. A couple weeks later, I called service center to try to schedule both services for the same day since we live out of state. When I arrive, service center has little to nothing to do with me. Our sales associate reenters the scene to let me know the interior guy isn't there that day (the day I asked service to make sure they both would be) and that the body repair guy doesn't have tools to fix the dent, just paint the scratch. I would have to reschedule both. I stuck to communicating with the sales associate when I had some dates to reschedule and wanted to know what kind of finished product I should expect with the dent and scar repair. They didn't bother to respond so I'm counting it as a loss. I won't even have the interior cleaned. It's just not worth it. More
