That being said, after leaving the dealership thinking it was all finalized, I was then contacted by your Finance Manager Marc Petit-Homme that he needed to come to Charlottesville to have me resign everything that it did not go through. Very frustrating, I met with him at my job and resigned everything, in the same day I got a call from him asking me to tell Argent Credit Union if they called that I would float at work to Chesterfield Hospital. Which I ABSOLUTELY do not. My information given when applying for the loan advised my employment as Charlottesville VA. I was then advised if I did not, they do not do loans for anyone out of the Chesterfield area and I would be denied financing. Well at this point it was not my problem I would not lie nor commit loan fraud. I was never contacted by Argent. Fast forward to the knocking in the truck we started hearing in the motor. We contacted the service department and were advised to take it to any Ford dealer, and they would check it over. We were sold an AUL extended warranty even though the dealer advertises and told us we had lifetime loyalties including powertrain, also all over thier website. Even with this we are expected to use extended warranty paying a $100 deductible. The vehicle was taken February 22nd- March 6th to Pharrish Ford. We were advised to use 93 Octane gas in the vehicle that does not call for it and that it should help quiet it and nothing else found. The truck started having a loader knock call Volkswagen spoke to Service again and was advised to take it to anywhere close to us it should fall under Warranty. AUL also told us the same thing and said calling for approval was not necessary. It was taken to Troy's Automotive in Charlottesville 4/13/23. We were advised from Troys there was metal shavings in the oil filter , possibly blown motor, definitely top end damage maybe low end. This was devastating being we had not had truck long at all its our family ride and barley had been driven. On 4/27 we were advised the Warranty was denied due to the lift and tires that the truck was purchased with and making the expensive extended warranty void for any issues. This opening red flags is this what we have to deal with every time there is a issue with this vehicle, apparently so. Worth mentioning when purchased the truck had some factory warranty left, this just happens to be out of warranty at time of issues. Finally after reaching out to Loyalty VW and Dylan, the warranty company approved to move ahead with the disassembly of the motor. Dylan stated this would be made right no matter what and the truck was covered either way. The Troys contacted us again to let us know that we needed to be advised if oil pan is dropped and no shavings are found we are responsible to pay for the disassembly $398 according to AUL. We told them to go ahead as the warranty company will be covering it. Troys reached back out that the engin was blown and had the oil pan had shavings and would have to have long block replaced they would order it. We were then advised it is on back order and can be months before getting it in stock. I reached out to Dylan being we do not have a vehicle right now and was advised to get rental from Troys, which is the weirdest thing we have heard. Which they do not offer. I was then advised to reach out to Ford automotive who I spoke to a Kevin who laughed and states that is your dealerships responsibility we have so many recalls we can't help you all. It's not under factory warranty so not thier issue. So as I reached out to Troys again and spoke to Ford and was advised it can be few more months or so before the part is in they are so back ordered. As this is not our problem, we purchased this truck trusting you all to give us a reliable vehicle. The total price is already extremely high. More
