When I hear someone mentioning Longo Toyota and/or I see the words Longo Toyota, several things immediately come to my mind: Tom Ryan, Agent of Change, Professional work ethics, Professional, and a few answ the words Longo Toyota, several things immediately come to my mind: Tom Ryan, Agent of Change, Professional work ethics, Professional, and a few answered questions. Why is Longo Toyota different? As I am approaching 62 years of age, I have come to learn and now understand Longo Toyota; they believe an auto company can produce both a quality product, at a reasonable rate, and that the same auto company can also produce a product—a vehicle, for change. Their point of view is well documented. The evidence and impact of this produced quality product and of these changes are clearly seen in their market placement in the auto industry and through their active focus on the environment, education, safety initiatives and their support of nonprofit organizations that have helped and strengthen diverse communities not only in El Monte, but across the United Sates. How is Longo Toyota different? I would think that there are people in various industries throughout the United States who would define professional work ethics as rules: that explain how employees in the work place could successfully carry out their respective functions—in the workplace—to attain the appearance of being professional. I am sure Longo Toyota has such rules. Of course, these professional work ethics rules will include being creative; objectivity, good time management, great communication skill, excellent interpersonal relationships. And, as one could easily guess, in this context you merely achieve a great knowledge of how to define professional work ethics that might equate to being seen by your employer as a good worker: one who steadfastly follows all the contents of professional work ethics. What is the Longo Toyota difference? Here is a synopsis of what "Merriam" has to say regarding a professional: - an adjective which is defined as such: 1. Conforming to the ethical or technical standards of a profession 2. Exhibiting a courteous... generally businesslike manner in the workplace 3. Gaining livelihood [being paid] in a field (e.g. sports) also engaged in by amateurs 4. Having a permanent career in Beyond the dictionary, we have come to expect that a professional would have the following underlining traits: talent in the associated field, experience, positive ethics, proper decorum, businesslike, mentoring predilection, and a positive reputation. There are several reasons for why we would most likely attribute these as underline traits to a person we name as a professional: especially, when we consider that an Amateur—derived from Latin root word for "Love” do things because they love to do them. Moreover, in our society we have come to understands that a professional do tasks they are paid to do at a certain level of competency that justifies being paid. Namely, the broader traits we would attribute to a professional: Foremost is trustworthiness, helpfulness and caring. These traits are not only traits that we must see being demonstrated by the professional but we must also feel that these traits are being projected from the professional onto us, before we consider such a person to be a true/pure professional. At the risk of repeating, these are the traits we must know are internalized by the professional that we call a professional. Who makes Longo Toyota stand out? Tom Ryan 1. Tom Ryan equals trustworthiness 2. Tom Ryan equals helpful 3. Tom Ryan is committed to caring for both the produced product quality and the client Tom Ryan has shown to both his colleagues, superiors and clients that he cares by being reliable, diligent and that he has a positive attitude with regards to his work, by completing his work on time, not wasting the time of his colleagues or clients, and he manages both his time, colleague and clients time in the most efficient and effective means possible for all concerned with both maintaining an excellent product and maintaining excellent client relationships for the betterment of the Company. And, yes Tom Ryan equals both the product of professionalism: the wanting and needing of its client possessing this quality product that allow them to maintain an intrinsic positive change in their various endeavors—achieved through the maintenance of a vehicle. I tried to have a 2009 Camry SE and have been doing business with this dealership since 1983. However the tint job on my new Camry had some bubbles. I tried to have this resolved. I emailed Tom Rudnai and he had Kary Loefler contact me even though he left a message on my home answering machine to call him at (626) 580-6099 if there are any issues or concerns about my new Camry. Kary told me to go somewhere else to have it fixed even though it is under warranty at Longo and the reason their tint job has bubbles is because their best tinter left the dealership. More

I like Longo because their employees demonstrate professionalism. Be it in sales or service, it has been my experience that at Longo they care about treating customers with respect. My example of this is an employee named Tom Ryan. I've trusted Mr. Ryan with all of my vehicle repairs since 1987. Tom has an excellent way of treating clients. He is always friendly, upbeat, cheerful and knowledgeable. Those who know Mr. Ryan well, know that he will always be there to help you. If your car issue extends beyond the purview of Longo Toyota, Tom is smart and knows what to tell you to resolve your car problem. He will go above and beyond his job description if it is within his humanly powers. Without divulging compromising details, I know first hand that my testimony is true. If you want someone to count on for car repair maintenance or repair service, someone you can trust, I recommend Tom Ryan. If you are in the market for a used car at Longo, insist on Fred Williams. You might need an appointment, but it is worth the wait. You'll be treated fairly and honestly. Fred also has a good sense of humor. More
