I have taken my 2009 Ford Edge to Long McArthur's dealership since I bought it new for all routine service. The first couple of times I was very impressed with the service, the turn around time, and happily suprised that my car was give back to me washed. In April, when my car was serviced, I admit I was disappointed that my car wasn't washed like it had been on all the previous appointments. Last Friday, July 29th, I had an appt. at 3:00 to have my Edge serviced and the tires rotated. I brought in my coupon for "The Works" and gave it to Alex. I took a seat and waited what I thought would be less than an hour. After an hour and fifteen minutes I got up and waited next to the service desk where Alex works. I was ignored. After one hour and thirty minutes I walked up to Alex and explained that I was on a schedule and was quickly running out of time. He told me it would just be a few more minutes. Fifteen minutes later my car came out of the shop. My compensation for over an hour and forty-five minutes of my time was a $7 discount. I was not even given the courtesy of knowing why my service took so long. Oh, and again, my car was not washed. I happened to see the one page ad in the Salina Journal Sunday advertising "The Works" and a car wash with every service. Really? That was not the case with me. I have three months to decide what dealership will be servicing my car. I'm not sure it will be Long McArthur. Kari More

Dave was very friendly and fun to work with. He was solely focused on meeting our needs. We bought a red candy metallic 2010 Mustang GT 4.6 liter V8 automatic from him in February. Very nice car. We saw the grabber blue Mustang on the floor and fell in love with the color. Unfortunately for us it didn't have auto transmission. I visited with Dave on May 28 and told him I couldn't stop thinking about the grabber blue. He said he would look for one with auto transmission. Two weeks later, on June 11, we traded the 2010 GT for a 2011 GT 5.0 liter V8 with auto transmission--in the grabber blue! Dave had located it at a dealer in Missouri. What an awesome car! (What an awesome salesman!) And the really cool thing about it was the fact that it was a total surprise for me. Dave had only told me he had a signed Roush poster for me, which I was already thrilled about. He also took the time to help me sync my cell phone up to the car and showed me how to use the sync with my iPod. So cool! And the 0% financing for 60 months was a great deal too. The service department was very good fitting us into the schedule to install the remote start also. So in conclusion I just can't say enough about what a great experience we had at Long McArthur. Everyone made us feel welcome. It is definitely the place to go to buy a new or used vehicle, and that is why I give them a 5.0 rating. ("5.0"--I LOVE it!) Thank You, Dave Ellett and Long McArthur! Made the appointement on May 7th, got there at 4:30 with Mike having all paperwork ready. Drove off at 6:30 EXTREMELY HAPPY!!! Great personnel to work with. No pressure of any kind and they treat you with respect as a person, not just a sale. I'd recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase a Ford vehicle. More
