Hands down this the best service department in the country. My family will only purchase vehicles from this dealership, because of the customer care we receive from Johnny Bowlin and his great sta country. Experienced a "check engine" light scenario this weekend (2/4/2023). On Monday (2/6/2023), went to my local auto parts store's to get an OBD scan performed to see how severe it was, come to find out it was (2/4/2023). On Monday (2/6/2023), went to my local auto parts store's to get an OBD scan performed to see how severe it was, come to find out it was a Cam Shaft Sensor system problem (P0340/0343). Immediately went to the local Ford website to see service hours. For documentation purposes, I went ahead and submitted a Service Schedule, per their website, and noticed that all Service Schedules need to be done at least 48 hours prior to the Service needing to be done. So I submitted for Tuesday (2/7/2023) @ 7am anyways, considering the severity of the code. Showed up at the location to get service done and was informed that I should have Scheduled my Service work, Strike #1; next time I will coordinate with my Engine 48 hours prior to its Check Engine Light scenario to meet this STUPID requirement; its like going to the ER with a broken arm and they ask you if you scheduled your visit today. Needless to say that did not impress me on the person who checked me in. Then they proceeded to tell me that "IF" this was a powertrain warranty that I would need to PAY $100 deductible for a Warranty Repair; this is Strike #2; the Camshaft Sensor system is NOT a Wear and Tear item at less than 41k miles. Strike #3 is when they told me that they would not "Look" at it till Tuesday afternoon, most likely Wednesday, to just Diagnose the problem and not fix it. I will not patronize this dealership ever again. The new owners (since roughly 2019) have done nothing but bring this location to down to unreliable and incompetence. More
After visiting multiple dealerships and having a horrible day we finally went to Long Lewis in Hoover where they were met by friendly and extremely helpful sales associates.
