They way overbook the service department! On Thursday afternoon I called and made an appointment to have my oil changed Friday at 2 o’clock. I took my car in at 1:45 and waited for it. By 3:30 PM I went afternoon I called and made an appointment to have my oil changed Friday at 2 o’clock. I took my car in at 1:45 and waited for it. By 3:30 PM I went out to the garage to find out what was going on. They were just pulling my car in. The service manager said that they had a lot of tire changeover‘s to do. I told him I had a 2 o’clock appointment. The employee who checked me in protested that he told me that there might be a two-hour wait. Lithia/Kia also had signs posted advising that there might be a two-hour wait. I protested that I had a 2 o’clock appointment. Honest to God, the employee exclaimed, “What did you think? That we would have a technician standing by to work on your car 2 o’clock?” “Why yes,” I said. Isn’t that the point of making an appointment?!? More
