On our way from Washington State to our daughter's wedding in Lake Tahoe as we were 23 miles outside of Reno our dashboard in our Jeep Rubicon lit up with warning lights, we lost power. Panicked since wedding in Lake Tahoe as we were 23 miles outside of Reno our dashboard in our Jeep Rubicon lit up with warning lights, we lost power. Panicked since we are in the high desert and many miles from home I searched for the nearest Jeep dealer in Reno. We were able to limp into Reno and arrived at the dealership. We were greeted and told to pull the jeep into service. They immediately sent for Ben since our jeep is diesel. He read the codes and told us it really didn’t look good. He said it would be until tomorrow until someone could really take a look. He also said he heard all the rental cars at the airport were gone due to Burning man in the desert. He then said we could rent one of the jeeps there. He got us set up with the rental, helped us move our stuff from our jeep to the rental and sent us on our way. It must of only taken a couple hours and we were on our way again to Lake Tahoe. Worried about us being stranded in Reno until our Jeep was fixed we did not sleep very well. 20 minutes before our daughters wedding Ben notified us they were able to do a fix to the Jeep it road tested and all was covered under our warranty including the rental. He told us we could come pick up our jeep the next day. Ben was calm, assuring us all the way things would be fine. He took such good care of us. I don’t think had we went anywhere else this kind of customer experience would have happened. Ben Owings made us feel safe and taken care of. We were so far from home to receive such care it was the most amazing thing about our trip. We were able to watch our daughter get married and drive home after. You could never pay Ben enough for the care he put out for us. Wish we could bring him home and get him working at our local dealership. Funny we drove so far to receive this kind of care. We are eternally grateful and will never forget Ben and the Lithia Jeep service of care. More
