It's a shame they do business like this I have had my 4Runner serviced at this dealership multiple times and only a few times have I been even somewhat satisfied. Since my maintenance plan h I have had my 4Runner serviced at this dealership multiple times and only a few times have I been even somewhat satisfied. Since my maintenance plan has run out and I am now responsible for all fees for my vehicle (which I am more than happy to pay), I feel as though this service center has come up with reason after reason to charge me for something. Every time I am promised my car is perfectly fine and "my next few services should be cheap" I am confronted with "this needs to be fixed, that needs to be replaced" and my visit is all but "cheap." I spent over $3,000 on my car about 3 months ago and was assured that would be it for quite a while, and low and behold my husband brings it back for routine maintenance again today and they give him a list of items totaling about $500. I would not consider that "cheap." I strongly feel as though they advise their customer to replace or fix items that do not in fact need it. Unfortunately for me, I have zero experience or knowledge about how to fix vehicles or how to tell if something is in need, but they express such urgency at the time that they make me feel unsafe and because I have a child (and they know it) I feel as though they take advantage. I understand that vehicles with over 100k miles need parts replaced, but I have never had so many recommendations for repairs/replacements as I have here. Who knows, could I be overreacting and actually needed the laundry list of items they have told me to fix? It's possible, but I really don't think so. On top of that long complaint, their wait times for service is UNBEARABLE! multiple hours for simple service checks, even when an oil change isn't even performed. Terrible service. I do not plan to come back here again. More
