My wife and I shopped around different dealers and ended up a Liberty Mazda in Wakefield. From the moment we walked in the door we felt very comfortable. I liked the casual attire instead of suits. Chuck wo up a Liberty Mazda in Wakefield. From the moment we walked in the door we felt very comfortable. I liked the casual attire instead of suits. Chuck worked with us and did his best to get us in our new Mazda CX5. Chuck was a pleasure to do business with and was able to answer all the questions we had. I would recommend Chuck and this dealership for those looking for a new or used vehicle. More
My experience with Liberty was very good overall. The salesman was helpful when I first came to the dealership, answered questions about the car of interest and took me on a thorough test drive. The deal salesman was helpful when I first came to the dealership, answered questions about the car of interest and took me on a thorough test drive. The dealership was attentive to reviewing my trade while we were on the drive and were prepared with an estimated value when we returned. The sale price of the car was fair and like anyone, I would have preferred more for my trade, but the deal overall was satisfactory and I am very happy with the car. More
From my initial conversations with Chuck via email, he made me feel that he was excited to be working for Liberty Mazda and committed to getting me into a new Mazda. I came to Liberty Mazda to purchase a used Mazda 3 and I found the whole process very comfortable. The sales staff were very nice and not pushy at all. When I found the right car for me and was ready to buy found the whole process very comfortable. The sales staff were very nice and not pushy at all. When I found the right car for me and was ready to buy it we came to terms quickly and effortlessly. When I went in for the final approval and to do all the paperwork the only think that changed was the payment because I couldn't get approved for the special rate that I wanted. It turns out since I never pay my bills on time I couldn't get the special interest rate. They did work very hard and it took a few more days but I did finally get my car and for this I am grateful! From now on I will pay my bills and hopefully I will get my horrible credit in shape for my next car! :) More
I worked with Chuck Marinaccio and a couple others since Chuck was in and out of training that day. Chuck & I had agreed on a price on a new Mazda via email the day before (he even corrected a mathematical Chuck was in and out of training that day. Chuck & I had agreed on a price on a new Mazda via email the day before (he even corrected a mathematical mistake on my part that would have been in their favor!). When I got to the dealership the car was ready for me to test drive. After the drive we sat down and wrote up the contract, using the exact numbers we had agreed upon the day before. It was the easiest car buying experience I had ever had. I would highly recommend Liberty, and Chuck. More
Yet another car dealer who says one thing and does another. After coming off of a bad experience with a Hyundai dealer I looked at a 2011 Mazda 6 at Liberty Mazda. The sales person I worked with was another. After coming off of a bad experience with a Hyundai dealer I looked at a 2011 Mazda 6 at Liberty Mazda. The sales person I worked with was nice and took me for a test drive. I let him know there was another Mazda 6 at a different dealership that I was also interested in and he asked what deal he would need to offer me to earn my business that night. I told him, he wrote it down on paper, had me sign it, took it to his business manager, came back, shook my hand and said "congratulations". I filled out the paperwork, went back and met with the business manager who said he had all my info, would speak to the bank the next day (it was just before closing) and would call if anything went wrong. No call from them the next day about the financing, but I spoke with the sales manager to tell him I'd let my insurance company know I was trading my car in and that I'd pick the Mazda up that night. When I walked into the dealership and sat down to do the paperwork a completely different number was on the form. I explained to the business manager that the only reason I'd agreed to purchase from them was because of the deal I had been offered; otherwise I would have looked at the other car I had been interested in before making a decision. He simply said "well I don't know what this person said, but..." and tried to convince me to take the higher price. After a lot of back and forth about how I'd been brought there under false pretenses and based on a deal that was apparently a lie, he came down on the price to close to what I wanted but enough that I would've decided it wasn't worth looking at the other car. I left with out a new car!!! Why do these dealers lie?!?! More
I contacted this dealer through teh Internet. They contacted me and were quite too my liking, I did not feel an anonymous threat looking to make a quick killing. They pre-qualified my loan as I compel contacted me and were quite too my liking, I did not feel an anonymous threat looking to make a quick killing. They pre-qualified my loan as I compeleted the paperwork online. Even though it was an hours drive I went tehre, and never bought a car so fast! I got it that day.A lot of paperwork, but, I feel I got a great bargain, as am in the medical field and need an economical car that also will not scare off my patients. The manager even helped me transfer my belongings from my old vehicle to the new one....as I would have left 'stuff', behind. Follow=up was good, and the facility is clean and neat. More
I had been looking for a Mazda CX5 for a couple of weeks. I wanted the "Sky Blue" CX5 with particular options. I went to Mazda in Lowell and they told me that they only had 2 left (which did not have the options and were not the color I wanted. They claimed that there wouldn't be anymore CX5's available until the end of June. (I went there in the beginning of May). Two weeks later, on a Saturday, I went to Ira in Danvers to look at a white model(I was going to settle for a color I didnt really want) and as I pulled up I noticed a blue one on the lot. They had just sold the blue CX5, but promised they could get me one for Monday (they said they would ship it from Maine and that I would have to put down a $2000.00 deposit). As I was sittng at the Danvers dealership, my fiance looked up the Wakefield Mazda dealership and noticed that they had two blue CX5's so he called and immediately made an appointmet. I abruptly left Ira because I knew that I could get what I had wanted all along in Wakefield. As soon as I got there I was able to view the Mazda CX5 in both the touring and the grand touring in the color I wanted. The seller, Chuck, was very genuine and kind and I left that day with the car I had wanted for three weeks!!!!! I actually decided to spend a bit more to get the luxury model :) It's pretty sad that the Wakefield dealership had the car I wanted all three weeks, but no one was willing to tell me that because they wanted to sell me a car at their own dealership. Either way, I had a fabulous experience in Wakefield and I was so happy that eventhough it was a Saturday, I was able to drive the car off the lot the day I purchased it!!! I love my new car and I'm so happy to now own a Mazda!!! It's fabulous!!! More
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! This dealership sold me a Certified Pre-Owned, 2008 Mazda CX-7 in February of last year. I'll skip through all the details of that disappointing process and summarize: 1) T Certified Pre-Owned, 2008 Mazda CX-7 in February of last year. I'll skip through all the details of that disappointing process and summarize: 1) The day I tried to drive it off the lot, it had no inspection sticker and blue/white smoke was coming out of the tailpipes. 2) Over a week later, I finally had my Mazda CX-7 with a new turbo. To appease my anger, the dealership paid my first payment, gave me all weather floor mats and delivered it to me (with almost no gas left in it) 3) A month later, while cleaning my car, I found drier sheets in the filter of the ventilation system and shoved into underside of the front seats. I assume this was done in an effort to combat the cigarette odor from the previous owner... But after what I had been through with Liberty, I found it laughably typical. 4) Less than six months from purchasing the vehicle, I was further surprised to find that all of my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced! It's strange because the Certified Pre-Owned inspection paperwork showed check marks on green level... Meaning new or like new, right? 5) Recently, (a little over a year after purchase), the vehicle began to whine and whistle while on the highway, and it began to lose power... Then the blue/white smoke came out the back of it, and our weekend plans were again ruined by this vehicles lack of reliability because we had to have it towed away, leaving us stranded at a rest stop. 6) A different dealership (Lannan Mazda in Lowell) confirmed that the turbo was again the problem, and fixed it, but the Mazda corporation refuses to do anything but replace the turbo because "the specs look fine on the engine". That seems dubious to me. What's the failure rate for Mazda turbos? I have had two of them fail on this car me in about a year, so something tells me there might be an underlying problem with the vehicle. Luckily it is still under warranty because the vehicle has ~70K miles on it. So the current work, towing, and rental will all be paid for... but I won't get any compensation for my time and frustration. I'd like to drive it back to Liberty Mazda and park it right by the highway with a giant sign saying "This lemon is from Liberty!" The new general manager called me to come in to "see what he could do for me". but I think he just smells a desperation sale. More
I wanted to make a purchase on a new mazda tx9. I really liked the vechicle and was pleased that Chuck put his best foot forward to give me the best deal. I was not able to purchase the car for personal rea liked the vechicle and was pleased that Chuck put his best foot forward to give me the best deal. I was not able to purchase the car for personal reason but I do attend to re visit the dealership in a few months when things change. I hope chuck is still working there so I can give him the bussiness. I have told a few of my friends all ready what a great experience I had. More
