I just picked up my new car before the new year and I couldn't have had a better feeling making my way into 2014. Started out shopping at Liberty Mazda, and ended up buying there. Just from the feeling I couldn't have had a better feeling making my way into 2014. Started out shopping at Liberty Mazda, and ended up buying there. Just from the feeling I got on my very first visit there is what made me go back. Very laid back, thoughtful, interested, funny group over there!! I had a good time buying my car! Not just a pleasant purchase, but fun. I have never been to a dealer where everyone had been so nice and all seemed to be on the same page. Every time I walked by an employees I was asked if I was being attended to. It's a good feeling knowing that I was paid attention to. It's not always easy buying a car alone. Let alone for a female walking into a "Lions Den" so to speak. The rap of the old car dealers is gone. That was ears ago. Every dealer could learn a few things from Liberty Mazda and their staff. Best dealer around. More
Rob was the salesperson I bought the car from. He was beyond terrific! He went above and beyond to answer all my questions and was easily accessible by phone/email. When I began experiencing a problem w beyond terrific! He went above and beyond to answer all my questions and was easily accessible by phone/email. When I began experiencing a problem with my brakes, it was Rob who I first contacted. He put me in touch with Wally, the service manager. Wally immediately addressed the issue and took care of it in a timely manner. Rob followed up to make sure my issue was taken care of and I was satisfied. More
I was reccommended to Liberty by two friends of mine and so I decided I would go and check it out. My experience with Liberty was very good overall. Chuck was helpful when I first came to the dealership, an so I decided I would go and check it out. My experience with Liberty was very good overall. Chuck was helpful when I first came to the dealership, answered questions about the car of interest and took me on a thorough test drive. The dealership was attentive to reviewing my trade while we were on the drive and were prepared with an estimated value when we returned. The sale price of the car was fair and like anyone, I would have preferred more for my trade, but the deal overall was satisfactory and I am very happy with the car. More
Stay as far away from this dealership as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This man was rude, pushy and unprofessional. Not to mention he talked down to me, suggested i was stupid and incapable of und possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This man was rude, pushy and unprofessional. Not to mention he talked down to me, suggested i was stupid and incapable of understanding buying a car as well as screaming at me in the middle of the showroom!!!!!!!!!!! I was absolutely horrified!!!! what kind of person treats someone like this. The test drive was 5 minutes long and no highway. At the end of the conversation he just walked away from me saying nothing throwing his arms up ion the air. When i called to complain to the manager they said nothing was done wrong that is how they do business. This dealership is the worst i have ever been too. Unprofessional, rude and honestly a waste of space. They will take you for all you have! stay away!!!!!!!!!! More
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!!!!!!! Woman BEWARE!!!!The LIBERTY Dealerships are owned by the KNOPF FAMILY.DO NOT, DO NOT buy ANYTHING from them. Why??? Because in any company or household INTEGRITY, PROFESSOINALISM Dealerships are owned by the KNOPF FAMILY.DO NOT, DO NOT buy ANYTHING from them. Why??? Because in any company or household INTEGRITY, PROFESSOINALISM and Respect are the core belief's in which we work and live by. The KNOPF Family was OK with selling my wife a PRE-CERTIFIED MAZDA CX9 for approx 30K dollars, but when it came to them ensuring the vechicle was SAFE well that was a different story. The vehicle was unsafe, in fact having break issues and tire problems. When they were approached and given the opportunity to make the vehichle safer they chose to deflect, blame and in fact continue to jeopordize my family's safety. The KNOPF FAMILY acknowledged the issues and instead of fixing the issues they opted to try to bill us for their issues. Apparently SAFETY is not a concern of theirs. Folks look at the other reviews, this a pattern. Woman should not be taken adavantage of and your family's safety should be NUMBER 1. The KNOPF FAMILY should step up, where is their INTEGRITY and PROFESSIONALISM, where is there soul. This experience would NEVER happen at any of HERB CHAMBERS DEALERSHIPS. Herb cares about your safety and appreciate his customers. HERB understands that you want to build a realationship with your customers not put them in harms away. I want an owner like Herb, he has INTEGRITY. I could go on with names of staff but the bottom line starts and stops with the KNOPF FAMILY. Be safe everyone. More

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I began my internet car search I found a low-mileage, one owner vehicle at Liberty Mazda. It had HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I began my internet car search I found a low-mileage, one owner vehicle at Liberty Mazda. It had taken me weeks to find this perfect car. I was quite skeptical about conducting a long-distance business transaction with this dealership but the salesman, Chuck assured me it would be fine. Due to family obligations, I was unable to drive the 8 hours to Massachusetts to see the vehicle for a few weeks. Per Michael Consoles' request - I immediately Fed'Ex'd a "Good Faith Deposit" to hold said car until I could arrive to inspect and purchase the vehicle. About a week prior to my arrival I was pressured to sign the FIRST PAGE of a Purchase and Sales Agreement for the vehicle. This document also made me liable for monetary losses to the dealership should I not take delivery of the vehicle. I refused to sign the document and assured Chuck I would be there in one week to buy the car. The dealership then cashed my deposit check, so I thought we were fine. I was excited now to take a "road trip" 8 hours away to buy my car. About 6 days prior to leaving I received a call from the dealership informing me they had sold the car. Joe told my husband it was because they did not have a signed Purchase and Sales Agreement. I inquired "but you cashed my deposit check - isn't that acknowledgement that you would hold the car until I arrived?". APPARENTLY NOT!!! I was shocked and angry. I now had a car loan with no car!!! The dealership ignored cals and e-mails to FedEx my deposit monies. It took them two weeks via USPS to forward my check. I would NEVER, EVER, EVER recommend doing business with these people BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
This has been by far the worst car buying experience of my life. I will spend as much effort as I can warning potential customers away from this lying, cheating dealer. This dealer blatantly misreprese my life. I will spend as much effort as I can warning potential customers away from this lying, cheating dealer. This dealer blatantly misrepresented the car as "impeccable", containing features which it never had and claiming that it has never suffered any accident damage. None of these proved to be true, but it was "too late" before I found out. I reviewed the car over the internet and asked lots of questions of the representative before entering into negotiations - as I was purchasing from out of state. I repeatedly emphasized the importance of honesty on both our parts throughout the engagement. I was repeatedly assured on the phone and via email that this car was perfect. I submitted a credit card deposit and signed purchase contracts by fax. When I arrived to I was rushed into signing all the purchase documents - claiming that the car was being prepped for delivery. After I delivered the certified check for the balance, I went out to see the car. It had been hit twice in the rear and painted with touch up paint (the wrong color). When I escalated this issue, they offered to have "Dent Wizard" try to repair it - which failed miserably. I was never given the opportunity to talk to management about it and the representative repeatedly said "I've done all we can do. You should have looked at the car first." These people are liars, cheats and thieves. I have opened a Better Business Bureau complaint regarding this and am considering litigating through the Massachusetts Attorney General's Offic. More
This experience was by far my worst car buying experience. I saw a Mazda3 hatchback with 95000 miles but considered it since it was within my budget. We talked and negotiated and I left saying I n experience. I saw a Mazda3 hatchback with 95000 miles but considered it since it was within my budget. We talked and negotiated and I left saying I needed to sleep on it coz the miles were too high and next day decided to not make the deal. I had also test driven another Mazda3 Hatchback there that had 30000 miles less than the other car so I called them to inform them about my decision but also mentioned that I was interested in car with lower miles if it was possible to work on the price and bring it closer to my budget. They assured me on the phone that we could make it work and that I should come down to the dealership. I took a cab, went down there and asked them straight what would the final offer be like since my budget is so and so. They turned around flat on me saying oh I think we have a misunderstanding since we thought you wanted to pay the list price on the car which I already knew the day before was way out of my budget. I said why would I do that since I don't have that sort of budget and that was made very clear when we were negotiating on the first car. I don't understand why dealerships cannot be honest with their customers who are being completely honest. If its not possible, you can be very straight forward and let me know that its not possible to bring it close to your budget. I can accept that and we would be done. Its ridiculous to cause someone so much trouble when they are being utterly honest with you and so expect the same kind of honesty. I am definitely aware of what I can get for my budget and wouldn't keep higher expectations and wouldn't have called if I didn't think it was possible. More
